I don't know anything about this contest (Frankly I'm not interested) but in interest of keeping it fair, that's my stance on it.
Wow, you guys are quite vindictive. Not to mention ones rather opposed to free speech, unless, of course, that speech is yours. I was being a bit cheeky to try an augment my posts a bit, but I don't think one needs to be so Draconian as to initiate a ban. I didn't spend 22 years in the Marines to have speech redacted. Nobody is going to ban you, but it's bad etiquette to post count spam. Participate in the thread, but don't make one post after another just to get your post count up.
It's easy enough to get to 50 posts by actually participating in threads.

Seems like the qualifying standards are pretty sound and easy to play along with. Barring that there are still methods for automatically eliminating votes that don't qualify.

You actually have to have made 1 post in the month of September to be eligible for nomination......she has not, and thusly she currently is not eligible. But who knows what will happen before the voting begins. Besides, it does not look likely that anyone will move on with only one nomination anyway. Currently the highest number anyone has is 12, but there are several with 2, 3, & 4......so already, 1 does not cut it. Ha ha ha!
So, to the original poster (Patrick) re. Andi, I wouldn't get all that worked up about anyone getting ONE nomination. Ha ha ha!

No matter what the rules are, or how simple they are (hell, there's only 4 FFS), there are going to be people who lack in reading skills. It could be 1 sentence and people would still get it wrong.
That being said, a nomination isn't going to count if a member doesn't have 50 posts at the end of the week, if the girl isn't an OCSM (pointless nomination, but oh well), or if the OCSM hasn't posted during that month.
Takes me less than a second to skip to the next post. ;-)

I've accepted the universal truth years ago when I was a manager at McDonalds that people in general can not or will not read the rules/fine print.
- I can remember people getting pissed at me because I wouldn't let them trade in opened happy meal toys (even when we had a sign at the counter stating the rule).
- They'd get pissed at me when I kicked their kid off our indoor playland due to not wearing socks...the rule was clearly visible.
- The best was the clearly visible rules on how to purchase those fucking teeny beenie babies. Uuuuuuuuugh. The rules clearly didn't apply to THEM.
The same can be said for message boards, contests, terms of services, etc, etc, and so forth. Nobody reads the rules and if they do, the rules obviously don't apply to them.
I can either just accept people are retarded or get mad about it. It takes a lot less energy just accepting this truth. ;-)

When does this OCSM contest end?
It's actually ongoing. It will run on a monthly basis until otherwise stated. Currently there is a tie in to the OCSM of the Year category in the Miss FreeOnes contest (each OOTM winner will automatically make that list), but it will continue beyond that even...though no OCSM may win more than once per year.
Anyway, the October contest nominations will begin on October 17th and noms will end on the 24th when the top 10 in noms will move on to the voting phase....which will end the morning of the 31st.
