But you generally seem a little into conspiracies and tend to be a little paranoid at times.

Many laws/authorizations sound like they're bound to be ****** by some mad man usurper. In the end though, an open (or in this day and age; semi-open) society has too quick information exchange for a president to go around making hits at people he/she don't like. And even so, the risk/reward ratio for the most powerful man in the world going around ******* "petty" critics just doesn't add up.

The world is often way more moderate than what it appears to be At least that's my (relatively limited) experience.

Exactly. I do not know the year where that was slipped through (Or beside) house and senate, but a couple of your government agencies (or special teams) have had the freedom of putting down people without any fear of jurisdiction looking their way.

Oh, and I have to say, as the american population seems to feel okay with every phone call and every email being listened to, and the insane TSA procedures...

"Home Grown Terrorists" is a vague term and they can label anyone a terrorist, a person of interest, or an enemy combatant.

Basically if they do not like you for any reason they will slap a label on you.
