The lower mainland around Vancouver would share some similarities to Seattle. Usually warm, and cool and wet in the winter. Seldom snows in winter just wet and 40-50 F. However, a recent winter had a heat wave - people actually out in shorts and T's on the beaches. There's always a quick trip up into the Rockies to ski country and snugglin' in chalets. Spring is gorgeous with blossoms and fruit orchards galore in wine country. Tempted yet?

Toronto is actually the only place I've ever been but Ive been several times and yes I was there in the summer. It was hot and humid like most oif the East coast in the states. I'm more curious about the western coast of Canada. I don't really have any interest in any landlocked portion. What can you tell me about the West coast?

Good luck on the mega mega site Nikki. the second mega is how I am feeling about your site. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I myself have been feeling ill but I hope to be feeling better by Weds So I can practice with my new band. I only have about one month to learn 15 songs. I think I can do it.

Also, we're currently a mere 915 votes away from our goal for Nikki. So, barring something unforeseen happening on my end tomorrow...Tuesday is the big day we hit our mark & I can finally retire (translation...scale back my voting).

Hope you get to feeling better Vern. I had a bit of a bomb dropped on me yesterday afternoon & I don't know how it's going to turn out yet...but of course the stress and all from it has me feeling physically ill now myself. Good luck with the band and all though. The important thing is that you believe in yourself, for when you do that, there are no obstacles that you can not overcome!

To the rest of you, I hope everyone has a fabulous 1st full day of summer...or to our Aussie friends...first full day of winter!

As for myself, I don't know what the future may bring or has in store, but what I do know is that I will try my best to make the most of it...no matter how hard it may be at times & I will deal with it as best I can...with every ounce of my being.

Remember, nobody knows what the future has in store for us, we've just got to make the most of it...no matter how difficult it may be at times!

Funny but that's what I was leaning towards anyhow. I watched that movie "Red Riding Hood" last night and it was filmed in Vancouver as so many films are and it was so very me! I actually have a friend that lives there as well so if I were to move to Canada it would most likely be Vancouver but it's a ways off still from that anyhow.

Honestly it means I will take a break tonight and watch a movie and chill and get started on future updates and tomorrow I will start my game of catch up on other work. I will basically be working my ass off for the next 2 months. I mean in a major way! It feels good to be getting all of this done though. I'm SO EXCITED about the new site. I just got off the phone with my webmaster and we should be live by tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. VERY EXCITING!!!
