You're telling me, it was long fucking overdo if you as me too! lurkingdirk took a "mini-vacation" from FreeOnes, so I was left running Post of the Week also, so I was fortunate enough to get to declare Jane the winner of both OOTW & POTW all in the same week. That was totally fucking cool.....and if anyone definitely deserved it......it is/was Jane.....FINALLY!!!!!


Speaking of Jane, I rented 3 movies today, and I haven't watched any of them yet. I rented "The Rite," "127 Hours," and I think I'll start out with the 3rd one....."Jane Eyre". I expect "The Rite" to really suck, but I'm hoping the other two will make up for it. Ha ha ha!

jitna & Nikki hit the nail on the head, I've been one of the biggest whores on here recently.....and the fact that I have posted as much as I have in less than a year would definitely make me a whore (though, given how I honestly feel about posting so much.....something else comes to mind....but I won't go there....ha ha ha!). Now jitna, don't give up.....if things play out this week as I believe they will (you know what I mean jitna....if you don't, check out the OCSM thread Jane Burgess started in the Talk Section and read my last post in there), you'll overtake me on here in no time my friend! Ha ha ha!

Anyway, I saw my movies & returned them in time! Yay me......I actually rented 2 more....ha ha ha!

Here's my take on them:

Jane Eyre: A classic piece of literature.....and when you're dealing with the classics, you can't go wrong. I actually enjoyed this one the best of the 3 movies I rented.

The Rite: It wasn't as bad as I expected, and my expectations were very low. Think a bargain basement version of The Exorcist. The last 30 minutes got pretty cheesy, in what was kind of a cheesy movie to begin with, but overall it was tolerable. Like I said, think a cheap ripoff of The Exorcist.....but better than The Last Exorcism.

127 Hours: Just like The King's Speech is about a guy with a stammer....this movie is a movie about a guy who is stuck in a rock formation in a desert canyon for 127 hours until he cuts off his arm to save himself. It's based on a true story, and the story is fascinating in that he had to make such a drastic life or death decision...but, a fascinating movie it does not make. I'm sorry, but there is only so much you can watch a guy who's stuck before it becomes tedious. A 30 minute television show would probably be a bit much to tell the story....so 1 1/2 hours was definitely too long. If you resign yourself to the fact that the guy is stuck for the vast majority of the movie....you might enjoy it.....I for one did not....it was kind of flat storywise.

I have a friend who also can't eat gluten and there are some other ingredients she will get sick if she eats but I forget what they are. I hope your doing well though.

Hey, just to be cool and everything.....there is something that I feel that I need to point out.....since it was obviously lost on virtually everyone it would seem. Admittedly, I have a fucked up sense of humor sometimes.....soooooooo, when I suggested everyone just go ahead and share their favorite color since hardly anybody was taking Nikki up on her topic of "embarrassing sex stories" I meant that as a "tongue in cheek" joke since I was disappointed that not too many of you were willing or able to share a story with Nikki (especially after the few that have shared, have shared 2-3 stories).....I figured that most of you would have seen that, given it was such a lame topic, and I suggested it right after mentioning a lack of participation in Nikki's topic.....that I was just "busting" on those who weren't sharing any stories...and meant it jokingly. Anyway, I just wanted to clear that up for everybody. Hey, like I said, sometimes I can have a fucked up & strange sense of humor, and much of what you see me post on this site is meant tongue in cheek......because, after all, it's a "porn site," and it's a little hard for me to take it seriously sometimes. Ha ha ha!

Anyway, I believe it would be cool if you considered Nikki's topic, and if anyone who hasn't shared an embarrassing sex story yet would do so, if they could that is,.....I'm pretty sure Nikki would like to hear it. :2 cents: If not, just remember, the whole "favorite color" thing was a put on, and move on. Ha ha ha!

while i was training, a younger resident came in and was... less socially capable than the rest of us (& that is accepting that the rest of us are far along the nerd curve).

in any case, this day the group was talking about past conquests, and 'flea' as he was called volunteers that you can get a pneumothorax-- air around the lung, collapsing it, usually caused by fractured ribs-- during sex.

the others are skeptial but he insists. Says it's happened to him.

Mr. Mouthy is amazed. 'Flea, you mean you gave a girl a pneumothorax? I gotta reconsider what I've been saying about you, man!'

Instead of just shrugging, though, he had to answer...

'No, I got the pneumothorax.' Poor guy had to endure the teasing about that for months!
