Yes it has Keith! TOO FAST! I have so much to do and not enough time to do it and I'm working from the time I open my eyes until the time I go to sleep! It's such a huge "to do" list that it would literally take 5 of me to get it done. I have a couple of months of this. Grrr.
If the hands of time would just slow down a bit that would help! hahaha

You've never heard of "tubesteak"!?!? Where have you been!?!? I bet you've never heard of a "trouser snake" either! Ha ha ha! When I was younger, we used to trick clueless people into saying they wanted to eat a tubesteak! Ha ha ha! That and saying I was an FBI Agent! Of course that stood for Female Body Inspector! Ha ha ha! Ahhhh youth!!!!

Now, sorry to break it to you, but Nikki said she liked tubesteak on her taco.....she never said anything about a Vienna Sausage! Ha ha ha! Sorry....I couldn't resist!

The Keira Knightley one is pretty good but I prefer the BBC one as it goes into more detail. I seriously recommend the BBC version as a comparisson. Mr Darcy is played by the recently Oscar nominated Colin Firth from the Kings Speech ;)

Of course mine was merely good-natured ribbing! I would have been remiss to allow the sudden fixation on tubesteaks go by without turning each reference against the poster! It's always been in my nature to be a bit of a quick wit, and when I was younger, I used to enjoy picking on people from time to time. Ha ha ha! However, in my defense, I never enjoyed actually upsetting people or making them cry. Fortunately for me, I was actually blessed with a conscience. Sadly however, by today's definition, I guess I would have been classified as a bully. However, in my youth, a bully was someone who actually went around hitting and physically hurting people. That was so not me! Do, I feel bad about picking on people in the past....of course! However, as I said already, if you guys are going to keep lobbing in hanging breaking balls.....of course I am going to hit them out of the park! Ha ha ha! Like a wise man once said.....Hey, I work with you give me! Ha ha ha!

Now, as "delightful" as all of this banter about tubesteaks has been, I am actually firmly in the grips of my old nemesis insomnia! In light of that fact, I actually decided to feed my cultured side by watching an excellent and classy film. Though I have not yet had the pleasure of reading the novel, so I do not have that as a reference, I decided to finally give in to temptation and I watched the 2005 version of "Pride & Prejudice"! What can I say other than it is superbly acted and finally I have watched two straight films with great endings! I really liked Elizabeth and how she seemed to be the only character who was truly capable of being her true self. She wasn't afraid to show anyone how she really felt. However, she did learn the lesson concerning not giving into false impressions and/or impressions that are not truly grounded in fact. I suppose I should now read the novel so that I may have something to compare the film to, but, in the meantime I am quite pleased that I had the opportunity to view the latest film version! Now, I can not say that I cried at the end, SADLY that is one thing that I am virtually incapable of (it truly is SAD really), but, let's just say that I found the ending to be quite heart warming and more than appropriate! As a wise woman once said......"that's why they're called CLASSICS!"

(& while I am appreciative of my canines and their purpose in eating, i enjoy the occasional hummus wrap while driving)

I was at a wedding recently, and as usual passing up the meat, and asking for more potatoes, when I received the inevitable question: "so, where do you get your protein...?" to which my date announced to the entire table without batting an eye, "she swallows!"
