Yeah that doesn't work w/me. Hell medication doesnt really work. Some ******** techniques sometimes do. I'm an extreme case and it's not every night..just 70 - 75 % . haha

im not an insomniac, so i dont know if this is a stupid question, but have you ever tried just giving in and letting your body ***** when it wants to *****? i guess, basically become nocturnal. or would this just result in you not getting any ***** at all? i know that if i ever try to go to ***** before 12:30 id just lay there forever.
Seeing that I am a "semi-recovering" SEVERE insomniac, I figure I might as well chime in. For those who haven't had any experience with it, and I know Nikki can attest to this fact, there are usually several factors that are coming into play. It's obviously not a matter of simply not wanting to go to *****. I know from my experiences, I can lay down at 3am feeling pretty tired. After I would lay down, I would toss and turn & then basically throw in the towel and get right back up. So your body knows you're tired and often feels just that. It's a matter of getting the body and the mind on the same page. And trust me, that is much easier said than done! I'm sure most of you have heard of "getting a second wind". Hell, many nights I would get 4th and 5th winds, then it's daylight, and you've gotten absolutely no ***** at all.
And I know 1st hand that medicine doesn't always work either. I know that I easily built up a resistance to over the counter ******** pills, so they weren't hard to "defeat" at all! Then, when I would get to *****, I would be lucky to get a few hours *****, and that was only when I was incredibly exhausted. So, even when you do get to *****, often it is only short lived. And, when pills do work, often you **** up with a massive hangover from it.
The new pill I got a ************ for has worked pretty well, and I have been averaging about 8 uninterrupted hours of quality ***** since I've been on it. But, I usually actually have to take it by 9 if I want to be ****** by midnight. However, in the past week, I have had a couple of bouts of insomnia again, though I did manage 4 1/2 hours ***** one night, and 7 hours last night. So, it's not as bad as it used to be. Right before I went on the new pill, I went 3 straight days without ANY *****. Fortunately, the new pill doesn't have the "hangover" effect that many of the over the counter ones do!
The two worse things about insomnia from my experience are the fact that it basically makes it very difficult, if not outright impossible, to function properly, and the fact that not getting enough ***** takes a major toll on your overall health! It's basically one big mad, vicious, and destructive cycle! And sadly, as I already mentioned, it's not as simple as "not wanting to go to *****" either. To some, it might not seem like that big of a deal. But, trust me when I say this, I wouldn't wish insomnia on anyone!
Insomnia......she is a mean, vicious bitch!
