Re: the Official Nikki Nova thread
I had SUCH a crush on Joan Jett when I was in like ....3rd grade. Um yeah..true story. I still do. Only female I have ever had a TRUE crush on.
I can't fucking believe no one got this picture!!!! I would have had in a second. I even noticed it right away when you had it as your avatar briefly. Oh and those of you who haven;t seen the movie...you really should. It's good! I LOVE true stories and Kristin Stewart and Dakota Fanning do an AMAZING job!!!
Just sayin....
I was shocked nobody got it right off too! who??? was the only one who took a stab at it Thursday night...and he guessed the Go-Go's! I thought at least Joan Jett would give it away!!! Nobody got it until early yesterday evening! Hell, I even used the same pic that I used as my avatar! Ha ha ha! I 2nd that about "The Runaways"! Rented it back in November I think. Great movie! Wasn't sure if I'd like it...but, I LOVED it!!! If you haven't seen it yet...DO IT!!! Same with "The Social Network"!!! After seeing how Mark Zuckerberg is portrayed (fairly accurately from what I hear)...virtually everybody will look just a little better in your eyes! Ha ha ha! And, if you haven't seen Saw 3-D yet...DON'T!!! It SUCKS!!! Please be the last one as promised...AND no damn reboots either!!!
...Led Zepplin is hands down the GREATEST rock band of all time....EVER as far as pure perfection in a band. There is not a single song that is bad...or even subpar. You can't say that about any other band. My opinion...in my thread = FACT!
Preaching to the choir here Nikki!!! I haven't smoked "anything" in years...BUT I still love Zepplin!!! One would DEFINITELY be hard pressed to name a Zepplin song that isn't at least close to perfect! Some I like better than others...but yeah!!!
I could see them all but couldn't remember Alan Hunters name. He did look like a missing character from Full House though and JJ jackson had the roundest damn head. Cute little Marth Quinn. What else i sthere to say? and...Nina Blackwood with that fucking trashy hooker hair. Ha. Great voice but she really looked like she could've set up on the corner with that hair. haha. What was it about it that was so slutty I just can't explain but it just...was. hahah
Don't feel bad...I could only remember 4...I couldn't remember Alan Hunter either! Confession: he's the one that even I had to Google! Ha ha ha!
Um...when I was in 4th grade I was put in some 7th grade classes for a bit and was also considered to be "gifted" and granted I have only seen parts of the show 2 times and both times there were definitely questions that seemed beyond a 5th grader to me as well. Either that or all of the massive and I do mean MASSIVE amount of brain cells I destroyed in my partying years (6th grade to 19-ish) have done more damage than I realized. hahaha
You were lucky. I attended a VERY rural school district in PA! Lucky me, they had just cut their "gifted" program right before I came up through! As I later figured out, they split the **** up in 3 sections: Smart, medium (vocational/technical inclined), and average/less than average (included those who were headed to a life in farming)! The administration didn't have a clue what to do with me! They had faculty members meet with me privately to challenge me and to play the game Mastermind (remember that game?). I was happy they were willing to "splurge" on a board game for me! Ha ha ha! Needless to say, I wasn't being challenged...and QUICKLY became bored to Hell with school! As a result, I developed bad habits regarding education because I became so bored! Being that you are a fellow intellectual...I'm sure you can relate to being frustrated with not being fully challenged! In high school I was in College Prep...and it became more challenging, but by then, I was set in my ways, which led to underachieving

! It wasn't until I hit College that I REALLY accepted being challenged again AND I actually lived up to my potential again! I ended up 2 A-'s at Penn State my first semester away from graduating with a 4.0!
But yeah, on "5th Grader" they DEFINITELY ask some seriously advanced questions! In college I found that my school district prepared me much better than I assumed...so YEAH! And the ***** actors (disguised as "geniuses") give some BIZARRE answers at times! In 2nd grade...they revealed to my ****** (she wasn't supposed to tell me...ha ha ha!) that my IQ was 148. Who knows what it is today! But, I have often wondered if those "indiscretions" in Jr. & Sr. High ****** a brain cell or two myself! Funny thing was it was the College Prep students who seemed more likely to "experiment" with "party favors" ha ha ha! Weed and ******** were as far as I went btw! Some tried to talk me into "harder" things...But like Nancy Reagan told me to...I just said NO! Ha ha ha! Funny thing though...by the time I hit 21...******** wasn't as attractive as it was to me before! Guess it was the fact that it wasn't ***** anymore! Ha ha ha! Fucked up thing though...in Pennsylvania, the sales of "hard ******" is handled by the State through stores that they own and operate (workers are actually State Employees). The very day I turn 21, I went to a State Store (now called "**** and Spirit Shop") and bought a rather large bottle of Southern Comfort! Wouldn't you fucken know it...I WASN'T even carded! No beard or moustache or anything! Just wasn't carded! Kinda ****** the thrill of the moment! Ha ha ha!
