I wasn't going to post anything, choosing to just "disappear" for a while! But, given my health & what might be assumed by my "disappearance" AND the INTERESTING tone this morning, I have decided to have the courteousy to make an announcement instead!
Well, "doublevaglvr" I don't know you from Adam.....but I have some good news for you & some bad news! First, the "bad" news......I won't be starting my own thread.....and if I do, it won't be anytime soon! Now for the GOOD news.........you don't have to worry about me "hogging" the thread anymore!!! By all means......the thread is all yours.......well it's Nikki's REALLY.....but you get the point.....HAVE AT IT! Hell you can have run of the WHOLE boards if ya want!
Long story short, I have decided to take an EXTENDED leave from this thread & the ENTIRE FreeOnes bulletin board. So, it will be A WHILE before I'm back posting on FreeOnes again! I had basically decided to do this based upon something else that arose from the "incident" last night.......but not "necessarily" directly resulting from anyone who participates in this thread! But anyway, I'm not going to get into what else happened......but it is directly related to FreeOnes & it GENUINELY left a sour taste in my mouth! At least.....I was basically blindsided by someone else that I don't know from Adam......and the explanation didn't really make a whole lot of sense! It made me realize that I HAD allowed myself to play a larger role in this thread.....at the expense of Nikki....and the purpose of this thread.....as well as the few other threads that I regularly participated in!
I came to the realization that, as I have often said, in the whole grand scheme of things.....nobody is REALLY that important.......and I am no exception to that RULE!
So, before I get into any more "trouble" & before I RUIN anyone else's enjoyment of this, or any other thread.......I will bid everyone ADIEU!
I tried to make things interesting on this thread and others! Some appreciated that.....others, such as yourself clearly don't/didn't! Besides, Nikki is doing better.......so, not that this thread (or the boards in general) ever did, you CLEARLY don't "need" me to "hold down the fort"! Ha ha ha!
Like I said, I'm not upset with anyone who regularly participates in this thread.....it's just things like this.....the impression that I have been hogging this thread (which is probably right)....and getting basically blindsided (no, before anyone MISINTERPRETS anything, it WASN'T Nikki or any of the regulars on here) later last night.....that made my decision for me!
If y'all want to keep Musing Mondays & Bad Joke Friday going in my absence.....that's cool....if not.....that's cool too! Like I said before....it was just an attempt to keep things interesting! And like I also said.....CLEARLY y'all don't "need" me to make a go of it....like I have to tell you that "doublevaglvr" ha ha ha! I know I am preaching to the choir with you! Ha ha ha! It's all about Nikki as it should be......I'm just an unfortunate distraction! The rest of the threads are......well about whatever....not about me either!
So, "doublevaglvr" this should please you more than msot when I bid y'all ADIEU! Like MacArthur said......."I shall return"! I just don't know when! Probably won't be for 2 weeks or more.....maybe a month anyway! Like I said......I'm going to be "missing" from the boards as a whole....no posts to any thread!
Should anyone ever want to chat.......God only knows why ya would.....ha ha ha!.....I'm still available via PM on here during my absence......I'm just taking an extended sabbatical from posting to the public board/threads!
