After they stopped doing the Bud Bowl......I thought the only sporting event that God cared about was the Lingerie Bowl!

I believe he told Pat (apparently he is a bit of a recluse, and he ONLY talks directly to his agent Pat Robertson) that the fact that it is Nikki's thread was ULTIMATELY what sold him on the project!

Nikki, before I head to bed for the night, I wanted to pop in to say that I hope you FINALLY find some relief &/or get to the bottom of what's wrong! I wish there was something I could do to relieve your suffering......but sadly I am not a doctor, and anything that I would add to the subject would be purely web-based conjecture.....which, I am sure you know by now, is essentially worthless! Even if I saw what it was like.....it probably could be any number of things!

On the other hand, my Uncle IS a doctor......but seeing that he is in his mid-eighties & a Doctor of Dental Surgery.....I'm not sure he would be much help either.

I know what you are going through really SUCKS from having gotten poison oak & ivy REALLY bad in the past (not in a long while thankfully)! However, even then, I had the advantage of ACTUALLY knowing what was wrong & how to treat it (at least I think I knew....treated it ok anyway)! Not knowing what it is, is often just as bad or WORSE than the condition itself!

Again, I hope it clears up for you and fast! I understand that, unlike some people, you don't have the luxury of paid sick days! Each day you can't work because of the condition, is another day that you don't make any money! It's like you are getting the dreaded triple whammy! (condition, not knowing, & can't earn money because of it)

You're definitely in my thoughts!

ps. Don't know if I told you yet, but the book FINALLY came on Friday! I've had a really hectic Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.....so I've only had time enough to skim through it so far. I'm going to start reading it today (Monday). Given the number of pages, it shouldn't take me a long amount of time to read it......however, I plan on taking my time so that I fully understand/comprehend everything.....especially the technical/scientific stuff in the beginning.

Hey gang, since Nikki is on the DL so to speak, today will probably only be another trial run of "Mindless Musing Mondays," and we will probably do a full roll out when she is better! If you have any that you would like to add today, feel free! If you have any pithy comments toward mine.....feel free to do that too! Since I have another hectic day today, I decided, in honor of my Pittsburgh Steelers' quest for their 7th Super Bowl win, I'd post 7 musings for now before I go to bed! Some are serious, some are comical! I tried to mix it up this week! But, they are all SADLY original! Ha ha ha!

1. If we, the general public, and the media stop paying attention to people who are overtly freaks & attention whores, will people stop acting like such total & utter freaks? Will we ever stop feeding the freaks?

2. Was Soylent Green created by mixing Soylent Blue & Soylent Yellow? It's only 11 years away.....Inquiring minds need to know!

3. When I take my mother to the doctors, which I have to do today, I always see this same car with a "pro-life" bumper sticker that reads something like: "Choose Life! Aren't You Glad Your Mother Did?" I always feel like sticking something beside it that reads: "No, It Was One Of The Biggest Mistakes She Ever Made In Her Life.......What's Your Point?" Ha ha ha!

4. If you call 867-5309.......what are the odds that you will actually get "Jenny" or even Jennifer for that matter? Ha ha ha!

5. Given that rotary phones were basically completely on their way out when I was still a kid, why do we STILL say "dial a number"? No "rotary what's" comments please.....I feel old enough already! Ha ha ha!

6. Are Totino's Pizza Rolls & Pillsbury Toaster Strudel REALLY a kid's favorite things & what they REALLY want to eat?!?!? And, if so......God help us all!

7. Why does New Orleans have a Jazz Festival that basically features exactly ZERO acts that ACTUALLY play JAZZ???

Well that's all for this week guys! Don't WORRY.....I have PLENTY more! You can take that as a threat, a promise, or both! Ha ha ha!

And Nikki......still hoping you get to the bottom of what ails you & it clears up for you & fast! A world with you ailing just seems to be a darker & more dreary place to be! Nobody deserves to suffer like that......and you don't deserve it even more than most! Just keep your humor and great personality about you......even though it is hard.....because we all know you will get to the bottom of it & it will clear up for you! You & I both know, sadly it often gets worse before it gets better. But, you have to keep the faith......because we all know it usually does just that.......GET BETTER!

Was in E.R. last night . Had several different docs looking at it and were all perplexed. They believe it's a couple different things at one time and they are both pretty serious and I am in complete agony. I am on 7 differet medications and I haven't slep, am in pain and just can't talk or deal right now. My Monday musings are really wierd due to this.

1). how long will it take for my skin to grow back if I cut it off of sections of my body?

2). since people pay big $ for microderabrasion then why would sandpapering my skin be bad?

3).where can I buy a hazmat suit for the next time I travel?

4) How can I attract a murderer to my house so he/she can/ will kill me n put me out of my misery?

5) This is fucking worse than chicken pox and poison ive and a chemical burn all at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6) A).why do people tweet me and stupid things like, "You should see a DR." Or "You should go to the hospital" like I wouldn't think of that or ...haven't done it already. TWICE in both cases actually....and right after I tweeted about having JUST GONE to the DR or the hospital!

B) Do people think I am THAT stupid that these things wouldn't occur to me on my own?

6)when will i be able to get back to work?

7) I need more gloves

8) I wonder who bought me the Peaches and Bad Brains cd's on my wishlist over Xmas because I never got them n they prob think I did n am just not thanking them like some ungrateful asshole

9)I now see the appeal of being a junkie. I just want to be unconcious

10) If I pet my cat will she give it back to me later? Hmmm...better stay away from my cat

I don't remember so much illness and so many types of illnesses being around growing up. Is it due to so much international travel/travelers now or ....??? I'm going to practice meditating the misery away now.........

1. If the entire area of skin is removed (both layers), skin wouldn't grow back! You would need a skin graft of be left with scar tissue! Not that you were serious....obviously you weren't.....but definitely not advisable!

3. As scary as this sounds....they actually sell them on Amazon! Just add it to your "wish list"! Ha ha us!

4. As fucked up as our society seems to be....Sadly, I doubt that would be too difficult! Again that wouldn't be advisable! Now I know you weren't serious....but I for one would miss ya! Plus, I would then have to make it my life's work to put my criminal justice background to good work in an effort to track the murderer's ass down!

5. You've had all three of those? I've had poison ivy, oak, & possibly summac, & I "might" have had chicken pox....never a chemical burn though! So I can only slightly empathize.

6.A. Because people in this day and age tend to respond &/or act BEFORE & WITHOUT actually paying attention to what's actually being said &/or going on! If I had a dollar for everytime I saw someone pushing a door that is CLEARLY marked pull...and then watching them continue to push....I'd be a millionaire! Plus, in your case, probably some guys want to be your white knight riding in to rescue you! So, they might be inclined to offer help.....& that's the best they can do! Too few realize that there is no disgrace in admitting that they just don't know &/or not saying anything! You'd NEVER get that advice from me.....Hell I had really bad vertigo & then a heart attack.....and each time I didn't even go to the ER until after at least 3 days....and ONLY after being nagged to Hell. What can I say.....I can REALLY be STUPID sometimes....but at least I realize it & admit it!

B. All I can say....from my own experience also.....that I am always amused when people who should at least realize that you are intelligent....and often acknowledge that fact...end up saying things to you that would indicate they are actually oblivious to that fact! Also, some seem to have the need to give advice....even if it's essentially worthless!

The other 6. I wish I knew....what really sucks is that you don't have the luxury of paid sick leave. However, depending on how up to it you are.......you'd be surprised how many people will give tips on those cam sites for doing essentially nothing. Not that I would advise this.....but I have seen models getting tipped just for taking shots! What you could do is get some organic apple juice & PRETEND it's whiskey & get tips to take shots until you "pass out"! Or, if it goes on a super long time, your friends on here could always take up a collection for ya!

7. Put them on your Amazon "wish list"! Furthermore, the more gloves you get.....the more "glove" sequels we can make!

8. I'm sure they are just happy to have been able to give you something that you enjoy!

9. I can only speak on the few times I was REALLY drunk....it's only fun UNTIL you wake up & feel a million times WORSE!

10. I wouldn't risk giving it to your cat &/or having her give it back to you! I think you are DEFINITELY smart there! As much as she will miss snuggling with you & getting petted....she'll thank you later!


I think it is definitely a smaller world & things are definitely more easily spread! Additionally, with all of the rx drugs in use they are creating super bugs that that are stronger & more resistant to treatment!

Meditation is definitely a GOOD thing! It seems to be working for me anyway!

I sincerely hope today &/or this week sheds some light on your problem & FINALLY brings you the RELIEF that you so richly DESERVE!

i want to say something, but ive got basically to modes: smart ass and kiss ass. i dont think either one would be appropriate after Nikkis post all i can say is i hope you find some kind of relief, if not something to make you better than at least something thatll make it stop hurting and let you get some sleep

What a day! I've felt like crap all day....had a headache all day too! Took my mother to a Drs appointment.....had to get the nurse to get him to return so we could ACTUALLY FINISH asking questions! Then I was "throat raped" at The Bell (there is one right near her doctors)! To top it off, I left and forgot my cell phone! Got home to find a voice message on it informing me that they needed to reschedule my cardiology appointment that was scheduled for Wednesday! Guess I need to call them tomorrow morning! God, they had better NOT try to reschedule it for 2 months from now (when I originally scheduled it....the next available was in 2 months).....ha ha ha!

And Obama Care &/or a government run system would be worse how?

Hopefully things are looking better on your end Nikki!

I'm finishing watching the Pitt basketball game....taking a sleeping pill....then it's nighty night kiddies!

You're REALLY surprised that some in the medical profession seem to be stumped? I see it ALL the time! And, when "they" are stumped, "they" RARELY direct you to someone who MAY know what is wrong! I chalk that up to ego! I mean, if you had a "God complex," which virtually all doctors have, would you be able to accept the FACT that you ACTUALLY do not know EVERYTHING!?!?! To do so would also require accepting another FACT: You're not God! (Doctors aren't)
