I just received this terrible news and i am shocked. I cannot believe this terrible news.
Nightfly aka Michael Greenwood has passed away on 6 april 2007.
I know he used to post here for a long period of time. For the ones who knows him i want to announce this terrible news. He was a good friend of mine and he always supported the girls from Porn industry. He had many famous friends like Crissy Moran,Bobby Eden,Terri Summers,Sandee Westgate.

This is a letter from his brother:
"Friends of Michael a.k.a. "Nightfly",

I am Michael's oldest brother. It is my sad duty to inform all of you that Michael passed away on April 6, 2007 in Ohio after several days in the hospital.

His family and I were astonished to find so many people online who knew Michael. He was truly exceptional in so many ways, and it was my sad duty and privilege to give his eulogy.

I do not know many of you, but I know that my brother cherished the friends he made here and in the real world.

I will be keeping this profile open for a week or two. If Michael meant something to you, please post it as a comment, and I will share them with the rest of Michael's family. You may also send email to his Gmail account.

I'm truly sorry to hear this grim news.

While I've followed NF via his blog and have made the odd comment here and there, I've not been in touch with him as often as I should.

Now he's gone - and I feel absolutely gutted. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

RIP, Nightfly. You'll be definitely missed.....

He is the member that new members still ask me about the most. I still talked with him on MSN and even a few weeks ago when I last talked to him for the first time in sometime I got no clue. In fact he even joked as it had been sometime since our last talk that he thought I'd died. That was Fly all over.

Believe me when I say this is a total shock to me. Fly was a real character. We'd be arguing on some subject here on the board. While at the same time laughing and joking on MSN. I know some members here didn't like him, but they still had to respect him. Even in my friendship with him over the thousands of miles we had our ups and downs. Just like a real life friendship off the internet.

But where ever Fly is now I can say this...

There will be laughter, there will be tears. But no matter what, it has gained a little something we have lost!

I found out about this last night. My condolences go out to his family. I myself have known him for almost four years. I haven't kept in touch in the last couple, but he was always visible and there anywhere I went. If not totally, his remnants of his passing through were. I'm still trying to process this. As I just told someone, I awoke this morning actually thinking I had dreamt it. I don't do MySpace so I have lost touch with many people.

OMG!!!!! He and I were MSN buddies for over 2 years. I hadn't seen him on MSN in a few weeks so I thought he must have had to move again, and hadn't restored his internet conection. Now this terrable news. I know he had many medical problems and suffered from depression, but I never thought it would come to this! Total shocker. Rest In Peace Michael, at least your suffering is over.

He always supported the girls in adult industry and had lots of friends.
I have always enjoyed to talked and share thoughts with him.
He was an very optimist guy ,always caring and helping people ,advices or other kind of help.
I never heard him crying over his problems,maybe he was keeping inside of him all his problems,and to hear that he had depressions it really makes me sad to hear that.
I hope all his problems are gone now and he smile at us from heaven.
We will definately miss you my dear friend.

I just found out that today another bud of mine have died, a biker, young guy without having any guilt.One stupid driver came on the road without beeing careful and crashed my friend that was driving regulary on his bike. It will be on news. My friend just saw the accident and gave him the first aid but he thinks he had the internal hemoragy and his leg broken.
The ambulance came after 30 minutes from the accident. only 27 yo.

I didn't know Nightfly on a personal level, just through posting on Freeones.

It's a testament to his intellect, personality and presence on the board, that we all feel so shocked and saddened by the news and will do so for some time to come.


There is another thread asking which Freeones member we think about when were not here...today I have thought quite a lot about the loss of Nightfly....we'll miss you mate.

i never met or chatted with nightfly. but, since befriending some of the senior members here, i have heard some things. i also like to go through history and read some old threads. ive seen a lot of usernames as member(insert number) and through the replies and quotes found out that one of those usernames is nightfly. i have a thought. why dont the powers that be take down the member##### and let nightfly's name be known?

I myself think its not a good idea. Those that don't know him should read those that did thoughts and remember him that way. As a "known" figure on the boards. We that did know him should do as we are are doing and remember his good points and send our best to the family. He wasn't always, like all of us at times on his best behavior. I say let sleeping dogs lie. Just my :2 cents:
