Ok, i wish you good luck for tonight's game... but don't expect me to wish a win for the Leafs :D

Oh, do you think Brad May will be in the lineup?

EDIT: I found an english link for CKAC on the web (you need to register tho - i should be able to find one without that assle) - http://radiotime.com/station/s_31238/CKAC_730.aspx

You probably won't guess my 2 fav teams.

As for May, if he makes the line-up then expect another beatdown of a Hab. I'm sure Hollweg and Mayers would do a number on Begin and Komisarek but with Laraque hurt, some players would want to fill the roll. :(

I have nothing against the Habs but it's the truth when it comes to rough hockey. Deveaux-Laraque would be interesting. If Fletcher didn't change the team, Belak would be there instead of Deveaux.

Flyers and Ducks?

Those are teams build with the gritty, rough, physical hockey you enjoy :)

I'm pretty sure i'm wrong but i had to guess! :D

wrong. Laugh hard now.

Canucks and Rags.

Had a soft spot for the nucks when they faced the Isles and King Brodeur did his best. Got interested again when Bure and Odjick started playing for them. Bure was a pure goal scorer and if you don't know Odjick, then you don't follow hockey.

As for the Rags...when the moose was traded, I became a fan. Not to mention players like Beukeboom, Domi, Langdon, etc. Before the Sather experiment.

I have a soft spot for the teams but they don't play hard hockey. At least Colton Orr is causing damage. (broke Koci's fist with his face)

Gino Odjick finished his professional career in Montreal for the Habs :D

Gino Odjick was, with guys like Donald Brashear and Bob Probert, in a very elite club of enforcers that can score goals. A very rare breed, eh? We don't see often players with those qualities. I think the last time we had someone alike with the Habs, we have to go back to Chris Nilan's years!

We also had Darren Langdon for one season few years ago. I really enjoyed to have him in our team and never understood why he have not been resigned... Habs got Aaron Downey :)cry:) to replace him.

Richard Brodeur and the Canucks in the finals? That was a great hockey moment. Do you remember all the white turning things in the crowd in Vancouver? Who was there: Stan Smyl, Tiger Williams, Harold Snepsts?

Ovechkin and Lecavalier both selected as reserves for the East. All Star game is still a joke, though.

Odjick scored because he was following Bure. He was on the same line as Bure just to protect him. They became friends since they spent so much time together.

Neilson(RIP) was the one who started the towel waving. One bad penalty call and he was waving it as like giving up.

good. at least they're there

wouldn't this be a Don Cherry wet dream...Iggy and Lecavalier dropping the gloves at the all star game. 2 legit powerforwards giving it all for the few fight fans in attendance. Wait, is Iginla there?

I'd give you the odds on the MTL fighter winning, which is doubtful. hey bud, we have to sit down in a bar and discuss hockey.:glugglug:

I'm a Senator's fan and I think Spezza should be in the All Star lineup before Heatley. I love Heatley, one of my favourite players, but Spezza has been playing better this year. When he's moving his feet, he's untouchable.

both should be on a line-up.

I think it's ridiculous to have Henrik Lundqvist on the all-star roster. He's not having a great season ( he just gave up 5 goals on 25 shots to Montreal on wednesday ) , he has a quite unspectacular .908 save % . I think Mike Smith would have been a more deserving candidate even though he doesn't have a lot of wins this year. At least Tim Thomas has been selected. He has been the best goalie in the eastern conference. :2 cents:

Dude nothing against you or anybody else pissed about the all-star game! I say fuck it, don't even sweat it, its a glorified ice capades show! they mine as well let raffle winners be the defensemen it's a complete insult and farce to what the NHL call an all-star game!:eek:

The NHL should pit all the north american stars (US and CAN. born players) against all the (Euros and all other non NA players) where ever they may come from and offer the winning team a $100,000 to each player, along with a years worth of endorsement commercials or some kind of marketing deal and every year their would be an intense physical game played with heart so the winners could get their $ along with the privledge of advertising endorsments like ie. lebron james does with nike!! that would entice a real ALL-STAR game IMHO! :D

Yes. The Blues never left Saint-Louis :)

They are slumping in the past few seasons tho.

I was being tongue-in-cheek. I'm a Blues fan....long-suffering. Slump? Is that what you call it when you have been in the league for 41 years and never won a Stanley Cup?

What a horrible franchise....the Chicago Cubs of the NHL. Except at least the Cubs are trying to build a winner. Checketts and Davidson have done nothing. The Blues suck, plain and simple.
