Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
So the Pens win their 4th Stanley Cup. Congrats to them. Hot-diggity dog for them. So, now what? What do you see regarding your team's needs and possible moves in the off-season to become more competitive? Hitch is coming back and it's obvious to me that the Blues need another big scoring threat....preferably a winger. The Sharks shut down Tarasenko and there went our offense. I'd love to see Kucherov or Voracek wearing the note next year but right now, we need to deal with some contract issues first, specifically Backes and Brouwer. Would not be surprised to see Shattenkirk dealt for another forward....the Blues are loaded with defensive talent in the AHL. In actuality, the Blues may have that high-scoring forward on their team already in the person of Robby Fabbri. He's only 21 and played like a seasoned vet in the playoffs. I could see him being a 30-plus goal scorer. I think we're good in goal and would expect to see Allen emerge as the go-to guy more and more next year. Should be interesting to watch.
