Torn & Frayed.
Remember the special scissors they had for them in grade school?
Yep. I used them to stab my teacher, and everyone who made fun of me.

Fuckin' lefties. They're taking over the world. Remember the good old days when we could drown them?
*flips off the computer screen....with my left hand.*:D

TSN is reporting the Flames traded Iginla to the Bruins...

Jarome Iginla is now a Penguin.

The Penguins made a hell of a good purchase with Jarome Iginla. The way he plays should meld well with the way Pittsburgh plays, and they must've seen that. I expect to see him play much better there than with the current Calgary Flames team. As if the Penguins weren't a threat already. It wouldn't be much of a surprise to see them run away with the Eastern Conference. Hell, right now they lead the league.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
The Bruins better hope the Red Sox start slow. It's about the only way their current slide will go to the back burner. They couldn't score in a women's prison with a fistful of pardons and cartons of cigarettes under each arm

Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby is out indefinitely after having surgery for a broken jaw, the team announced via Twitter on Sunday.
Regardless when or if Crosby comes back, I don't think the Penguins will win the cup this year.

What I found surprising, and didn't know about until recently was the fact the NHL actually doesn't allow the players besides goalies to wear the helmets with the cage over them, even if a player wanted to! I can see few doing it because of machismo or thinking it blocks vision (which I can't imagine it being any worse than a visor), but jeez I would think I would want to wear something to protect me from getting my eye gouged out, loosing teeth, or just getting my face busted up when it's so readily available.

Gaborik to the Blue Jackets in a hilarious trade no one saw coming.

Great add by the Jackets. What a mess the Rangers are! I hope the Blues adding Leopold and Bouwmeester will settle things down on the Blueline and reduce GA a bit. Halak being injured (again!) will really put the heat on Elliott. Dude needs to step up....only 14 games to go!

Man, talk about a "must-win", the Blues shootout win at the Madhouse last night was a real-nail biter. With their new additions on defense (Leopold, Boumeester) and a more-confident Elliott in goal, we looked a lot more in control last night. Problem is....man, the Hawks are a good team! They have so much speed and skill, no weaknesses. They are one of those rare teams who seems to have the ability to kick it into a higher gear at will. I saw examples of that a couple of times last night. We were damned lucky to beat them but I'll sure take it.

I'll tell you, as much as I believe in my Blackhawks, I can't deny that Anaheim has just as good of a chance of taking the Western conference.
As for the East, until last week, I would've had no doubt in picking Pittsburgh, but with all of their injuries I just don't know. Montreal may take it.
