Haha lol.. it was completely up too MO... he could have turned down the Red Wings offer, Infact I think he said he would like to play for the Wings instead of retiring and I think he was the one who approached the Red Wings and asked K. Holland if they wanted his services, afterall MO ALWAYS wanted to be the hometown hero, he always wanted to play for the Red Wings and the Wings always wanted him,, thing is a deal never happened during his prime years. :2 cents:
:dunno:
I think Vancouver has faced allot of adversity along there quest for this years cup and they have HOME ice advantange.. I don't/can't see the B's winning 4 out of 7 games. but we'll see, they still have to fend off the Bolts. :hatsoff:
The Wild actually had a ceremony for MM before a game and there was talk of him returning "home" for a period there before this season as well. I actually would've liked that better, simply because he was a (Minnesota) Star his entire career.
Eh, whatever. Like you said it was up to him and he was a MI native so in that regard it was sort of fitting.
About the Bs, seriously, we can't say anything is for sure this playoffs, because let's be honest, look at BOTH the scares the Cafucks had in the two previous series. Remember? They damn near got knocked off by the Hawks and they looked like shit at times against the Preds. I don't think they are clear-cut at all. Not in the least. :2 cents:
And had the puck bounced in another direction tonight and the Sharks HAD scored...we would be singing a different tune altogether and Plasma would still be sweatin' his nuts off. The Sharks were 12 seconds away from sending back to Cali'. It would be a mistake for anyone to claim the Cafucks will route the winner of the East...
