A skunk can't smell his own stink. I'm not going through all of your posts to give you credible evidence. But, Off the top of my head, your Mike Smith nonsense and you campaigning for Guy Boucher to take Dan Balysmas place in the Jack Adams nominees shows your homerism. U mad bro?

Higher level of fan base? lol Who says that? I'll continue reading your posts because theyre funny. Thanks for calling me a jackoff though ;)

Go Boston!!

Sean Bergenheim may have a groin injury

1. i haven't hyped Mike Smith in years. i've supported him but nothing was nonsensical
2. Guy Boucher should absolutely have been nominated for Coach of the year.

why would i be mad? you haven't proven a thing.

Would you guys just chill the fuck out? Jesus.

And fairwell to Rafs and Weight, two of the greatest Americans ever to put on a sweater.

I heard Rafalski was retiring as well.. although he hasn't officially told the Red Wings / Ken Holland that this is true...

Not that I don't like Rafalski, but thats @least 6 million$$$ of cap space if he does retire.. and another 6 million + if Lidstrom retires.. There could be allot of new high end elite players wearing a Red Wings Jersey in the 2011/2012 Season.
:D:2 cents::surprise:

Draper and Osgood could potentially retire too. All the guys I grew up cheering for are going to be gone soon :(

Yeah I took Drapes and Ozzie for granted.. Ozzie might be able to convince K. Holland he's good for another year, but the Red Wings were not very happy with him that he wasn't available for the stretch run and playoffs.. Raffi, Lidstrom, Drapes, Ozzie, & Modano.. could all be gone.. I think Lidstrom is gonna play 1 more year, especially since Raffi's surprise retirement thats allot of cap space to fill, hopefully we can entice some really high end ELITE players to come play for the Red Wings. :dunno::D :2 cents:

To see Modano in a Red Wings sweater, to me, was complete blasphemy. I didn't like it at all. Not at all.

Canucks take the first period lead...

I think they'll win it tonight.

:rubbel:

Peace out San Jogay.

crazy goal.

what happened was, the Canucks attempted a dump in. the puck rode up the glass and nearly everybody thought it went into the netting. it actually hit a stanchion and bounced to Kevin Bieksa who put the puck in the net.

good goal, game over.

Wow that was one of the weirdest fuckin goals I've ever seen.. The thing is Vancouver didn't play badly, SJ just ran into a HOT goaltender in Luongo, he doesn't come out on the happy end most years so it's surprising to see him withstand that barrage of rubber and still get a win..

Sorry to say and I know will take a little criticism for saying this, I don't think either team from the Eastern conference can beat the CANUCKS this year.. I think the NUCKS Defense is too strong and with louie in net.. VANCOUVER finally wins Lord Stanley's Chalice..

I can't deny that they look very good but I am hoping the Bs can pull it out. I hope it goes 7 and TT shuts them mofos down - revenge for the olympics. :thefinger

Haha lol.. :D it was completely up too MO... he could have turned down the Red Wings offer, Infact I think he said he would like to play for the Wings instead of retiring and I think he was the one who approached the Red Wings and asked K. Holland if they wanted his services, afterall MO ALWAYS wanted to be the hometown hero, he always wanted to play for the Red Wings and the Wings always wanted him,, thing is a deal never happened during his prime years. :2 cents:

:dunno: I think Vancouver has faced allot of adversity along there quest for this years cup and they have HOME ice advantange.. I don't/can't see the B's winning 4 out of 7 games. but we'll see, they still have to fend off the Bolts. :hatsoff:

The Wild actually had a ceremony for MM before a game and there was talk of him returning "home" for a period there before this season as well. I actually would've liked that better, simply because he was a (Minnesota) Star his entire career.

Eh, whatever. Like you said it was up to him and he was a MI native so in that regard it was sort of fitting.

About the Bs, seriously, we can't say anything is for sure this playoffs, because let's be honest, look at BOTH the scares the Cafucks had in the two previous series. Remember? They damn near got knocked off by the Hawks and they looked like shit at times against the Preds. I don't think they are clear-cut at all. Not in the least. :2 cents:

And had the puck bounced in another direction tonight and the Sharks HAD scored...we would be singing a different tune altogether and Plasma would still be sweatin' his nuts off. The Sharks were 12 seconds away from sending back to Cali'. It would be a mistake for anyone to claim the Cafucks will route the winner of the East...
