Totally random question, but what would be the weirdest matchup in the finals? I'm watching the Coyotes/Wings game and I just thought that a Phoenix/Montreal matchup would make absolutely no sense.
Good for the Devils! I'm sorry but the Flyers are the dirtiest fucks in the league and always have been. Is it possible for them to play one game without highsticking someone in the nose 5 times??? Its no coincidence that the biggest headcase to ever play the game, Ron Hextall, was their goaltender for alot of years....lol

Man, I love the playoffs this year. Everyone said teams like Nashville and Phoenix wouldn't be able to contend with teams like Chicago and Detroit, and look what just happened. Nashville tops Chicago 4-1 (Though they got two empty netters). Any team can beat any team. This is awesome.
Detroit is always in the playoffs, but they would have not made it since the break without a great run towards the end of this season. Phoenix had the better record overall. We were the team counted out this season. Dont play too much the underdog, Phoenix is a solid team. Nashville is another story!

he didn't get a penalty because it was a clean hit. the elbow made contact with Leopold's head because Jordan was leaning down and Sutton is 6'5". you'll notice the elbow stays tucked into Andy's side until the follow through and the momentum forces it up.
it was a gnarly hit, but not illegal.
