No offence, but you sound like an idiot saying he should be suspended 90 days MINIMUM. The longest suspension in NHL history is 30 games. Bertuzzi was only suspended 20 for breaking vertebrae in Steve Moore's neck and ending his career.
In case you weren't watching let me reiterate......He hit his own teammate in the fucking skull with a weapon, then proceeded to break the stick in half on the post 2 seconds later, and if that wasnt bad enough, this neanderthal proceeded to skate OVER his teammate back to the bench only to sit there with a blank expression on his dopey face!!!No offence, but you sound like an idiot saying he should be suspended 90 days MINIMUM. The longest suspension in NHL history is 30 games. Bertuzzi was only suspended 20 for breaking vertebrae in Steve Moore's neck and ending his career. McSorley was only suspended 23 games (or the rest of the season) for viciously and INTENTIONALLY swinging his stick at Brashear's head. Now you know how suspensions go in the NHL, you clearly did not beforehand. If Bolland were to be suspended, which he absolutely should not be, it would have to be a MAXIMUM of 2 games. As it is, it was a complete accident, he hit his TEAMMATE, and he did show remorse. If you weren't watching and you didn't see it, then don't say he didn't because you don't know. Like Bettman said, having to be shown on Sportscentre and Sportsnet and every other sports show hitting his teammate in the head with his stick like that for weeks to come is punishment enough. A smart move by Bettman, this might just be a first.
