I'd like to respectfully suggest that we keep this thread focused on why a member SHOULD receive the M.O.W. award for their contributions to the board, NOT why a certain member shouldn't receive the award. That just leads to hurt feelings, IMO.

If the trend is for a non-star member, then I think that jdb67 is way over due. He's been here longer that most of us, and though not the most outspoken or overspoken on the board, he is rock solid and contributes (imo) consistantly. I think that the MOTW feature should also recognize some members outside of the Talk section as well!

i have gone against any nominations that anybody has said and instead given someone who i believe deserves member of the week. only problem is he never posts alot in the week, but great stuff at random points.
