Well guys....It`s finally here and starts in a couple of hrs in Australia.


I`m getting ready to stay up to watch it live,Dont go off till about 5am

Who is your tip for the world title this season?

I for one sure hope it aint that ass Schumacher again!!

I`m hoping for either one of the McLaren team guys, Raikkonen or Montoya.

Id be over the moon if my fav driver, Mr Villeneuve won but that aint gonna happen.

I miss the days of Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna (RIP), Nigel Mansell, Gerhard Berger, Keke Rosberg. I was lucky enough to see most of those race in my home town of Adelaide, best street circuit in the world behind Monaco imo..

I dont think Schumacher will win it this season. I have no reasoning behind my theory i just have a feeling he wont win this season. Being English Button would be my first choice for winning the title but i dont think that will happen.

of course schumacher will win that season just like he's gonna win the next 25 seasons if he doesn't die by falling off the uhm... thing on which the winners stand (?). I really used to like the formula one when i was younger, but in the meantime it has become absolutely boring. Just think about what you're doing when you watch it: you watch some 20 guys driving a goddamn car... for 2 hours, that's it - can't find anything that might be amusing about that, just my 2 cents

well schumacher DNF the race and, i was happy to see that, barichello had a strong race, but i think the wildcard in this entire season will be david coulthard in the red bull car. he looked very good yesterday, and if not for a quick pit stop by alonso and barichello he would have had 2nd place wrapped up

I kind of hope that Villeneuve will have a good year, maybe a few podiums would be good for him... For the championship, i admit that i hate Schumacher a lot, but i see nobody else winning it this year and maybe even the year after that... :dunno:

Was very happy with Schumacher not finishing i must say :1orglaugh

It was his own fault trying to ram Heidfeld off the track.

Overall...Happy enough with the result.

Coulthard was unlucky not to get a podium.

My main man Jacques had a terrible race...Hope he dont drive like that for the rest of the year.

it was a good result for fisichella and renault. he and alonso are gonna be strong this year. alonso is my pick for success of the two. shumacher will be back, especially when ferrari get their new car rolling. i hope button has a good season and can finally get a victory under his belt. sorry to say i dont like villeneuve or shumacher. its good to see shumachers dirty driving coming back round to get him. my favourite is montoya, mainly because he can be a bit wild behind the wheel. you can tell if he's pissed off just by the way he's driving. also like the williams team but only 'cos i drive a bmw. not really a fan of heidfeld or webber. hope jordan have a good season 'cos my mate works for them (but i doubt it). f1 is good for the main reason that it gives me something to watch while waiting for motogp to start. now if ya wanna see true motor racing then that is the sport to watch. c,mon Rossi.

Well it does spice it up alittle i think but i would think with the rule regarding using the tyres for a whole race....wouldnt that make it more dangerous?


The rule with using the same engine for 2 races sucks i think seeing the Ferrari never breaks down

Well once again a F1 season starts with the talk of Micheal & Ferrari dominance coming to an end & not helped by micheal not fininshing the race.But considering the fact that Barrichello ended up on the podium,I am wondering how much the race would have changed if all the teams had equal conditions for qualification.I think most teams have come much closer to Ferrari this season,but beating them will be a different matter altogether.

Was pleasently suprised with the Redbull team.That was unexpected.on the whole it should be rocking season.Just hope the teams can sustain the promise shown here through the season.Seen it too many times in the past that they come good for a few races & in the end it is Ferrari once again.

ooahouch, I will second that, it was just the luck of the draw, you can't read much out of this first race dew to the conditions.
Who knows what would have happend if it was the same for every one.??

For you there's nothing wrong, but you can at least respect my views about him... if you had said that U2 sucks, i would'nt bad repped you for that... something for you to think about, that's all !
