Well not a Pat's Fan, but truley impressive and at least a good game..
The best team ever? Could be... Not the best defense, but offense i would say so..
I think the only team that could match them is the Colts. Hope to see a match up down the road...

The gritty style of play that the Jaguars bring might be frightening but I don't think there is a single defense in the league that can stop the Patriots offensive weapons.

16-0 is remarkable and quite an accomplishment but without the Lombardi Trophy to validate them as the best team in the NFL it is merely a long winning streak. Go Pats!
Being Australian I only know about this through news articles... which actually says something because usually we only hear who won the superbowl, so to get a record like that is quite amazing. Sitting over hear completely neutral to the game I have to say I am impressed by any team that can be that consistently good over an entire season. But as they say, "You can be good, but you can't great until you've won the grandfinal" (or superbowl in this case).
They are way too good to fall off in the playoffs though.
They did cheat early in the year and I'm the first person to blow the whistle on a team for that but this is a great team.They,nor anyone else can claim that they are the greatest team ever until they win the Superbowl.Just remember,nobody gets a trophy for going 16-0 or the best record in the regular season so if they don't win the Superbowl or don't even make it,then they will be the best regular season team and nobody really gives a shit about that.All these teams in the league are trying to win championships,that's the ultimate goal.

That being said, yes, still a pretty good accomplishment, but wil be overlooked if they fail to win it all. Just glad no one got hurt so there are no excuses come playoff time. Win or go home baby!

Yes, in fact a lot of teams were better than the 72 Dolphins. I don't even know if I would put them in the top 10 let alone top 5 all time. They had one of the easiest schedules in history. Even then they had a lot of close calls and didn't blow teams away like the 85 Bears or this years Patriots did in most of their games.
I think that the Patriots 16-0 is amazing but the record won't mean a thing if they don't win the Super Bowl!

If I were a pats fan (i'm an eagles fan) I'd be a bit worried. It seems like mediocre teams like the Eagles and Ravens have figured out how to challenge the Patriots, so playoff teams will have no problem implementing those strategies and rolling over the patriots.
The key just appears to be jam the receivers and blitz like crazy. Easier said than done, thats why the last three games of the season were wins, but when a better team comes along its gonna be trouble.

16-0 is a great accomplishment, but unless they do win the Super Bowl it will be considered meaningless. Personally I'm hoping for them to make it to the Super Bowl and getting pounded by my Cowboys in a rematch.
