Need some help from fellow pot smokers...

So I've been smoking weed for quite some time now..about 2 years or so. I'm not a daily or even weekly smoker I usually smoke about twice a month, maybe a little more.

Anyway, in January 2010 it was the 1st time i had smoked in a couple months and I suffered a nosebleed 2 days afterwards, the nosebleeds continued almost everyday for about a week and got increasingly stronger then stopped after that week. This also happened on thursday and today after smoking a few days ago. I didnt have a nosebleed during the time I didnt smoke, the last nosebleed i actually had was about 6 years ago (i remember because i was in 8th grade).

So has anyone had nosebleeds due to ********* usage? Are my nosebleeds just a coincidence or should I be worried that they are related to the smoking?

All input is appreciated

Also... all of the nosebleeds, thus far, have come from the same nostril so its not an internal nosebleed.

That is telling you something - Stop making your brain into mush, because it leaks out of your nose slowly.

If I were you I would look into getting yourself on a healthy diet and supplement that healthy diet with high quality e.g. health food store grade vitamins, but first, have a physical exam because a few hits of pot sure as hell shouldn't make your nose *****. I have read sources that claim that ********* can act as a ***** thinner but I doubt that it would make your nose *****.

Don't fuck around ! you need to attend to this because it could get worse and if it does and you find yourself out in the boondocks, well....

Yeah i have heard that it acts as a ***** thinner but yea thanks for the advice,

I actually asked a ****** friend, who is a general practice doctor, about my nosebleeds, but didnt tell him I was smoking reefer at the time, and he said that nosebleeds arent much to worry about as long as their not internal which means they come from both nostrils.

Im not really worried about my health per se, Im in pretty good shape and excercise regularly im just trying to see if anyone else has had this problem, and trying to pinpoint if its weed related.

Thanks Facetious, I appreciate the help.

Let me axe you this...was the ********* ******* and by smoke, do you mean snort?

I'd have to say that it is completely unrelated. No way a little smoke is causing a nosebleed 2 days later. I'm no authority but I've been smoking pot, off and on for 30 years now, and I hang with a lot of smokers. This is the first I've heard of anything like this.

Also, you said you got nosebleeds in 8th grade, presumably before you ever started smoking pot. This also points to the two issues being unrelated.

Now, I'm no medical.....anything and it makes me nervous to give advice on anything regarding *****. My advice is to see a doctor, explain what's going on, admit to the weed use, tell him/her to go fuck themselves if they don't like it, and see if the two are in fact related. In either case, find out what's going on with the nosebleeds.

When your nose **** in the 8th grade, was it due to any particular trauma or did it just happen at random ?

You actually remember what nostril you **** from 6 years ago ? :p

I can't help you in the department of pot smokers . . , I could have years ago but I left that stuff in the dust !
and I'm not talkin meth or **** either ! :hatsoff:

In any event, you need to find out the origin of the *****, is it persistent or does it cease after a short (if you pardon the expression) period of ******** ?

When it does *****, You Might grab a small round cosmetic type mirror, if there's a woman under your rooftop :D and grab a small penlight and do some self exam of your inner nostril, you know ? grab a bunch of Q-tips, sorta lightly insert them into your nostril in order to absorb the ******** that has already occurred, then pull them out and quickly take a look see using the mirror and penlight to see if you can pinpoint just where the ***** originates.
