Hey Facetious don't pick out the single line in my post that puts my opinion into perspective. If you re-read my post, you will see we are on the same side

Your point is well taken, however, I just wanted to make the point that Americans themselves generally are not angry with the undocumented Mexican population, they're angry with the malfeasance of their own elected representatives. Those who are ''angry'' (on a personal level) with the undocumented Mexican population tend to provide fuel to the fire for those who advocate illegalities. . . IMO anyway.

It's just one of those things where, if you see or hear something enough times, you begin to believe it . . and in that spirit I will say that Americans are reasonably friendly and welcoming people, we just demand that our laws be followed. :hatsoff:

I don't see why a state can't choose to enforce a federal law, even if the federal government won't. The federal government just states what a definition of "illegal immigrant" is. Once they do that, which they have already done, I don't see why a state can't bring to justice people that are committing a crime, and hand them over to the federal government for proper action. If somebody breaks a federal law against murder on federal land nobody would bat an eyelash if some state authority figure brought them to justice, for example.

If people are "illegal" - they actually broke the law and are here when are not supposed to be - there is absolutely nothing unethical and/or immoral about this. I'm sorry but the buck stops here. Americans don't want these shenanigans anymore. We can't save everyone. We need to start with those of our people who've lineage for generations and are still lower class.
