Maybe NBC wallows in loony tunes liberal propaganda because its personnel lacks the competence required for factual reporting.

For example:

NBC News was one of the first to learn of the death of astronaut Neil Armstrong on Saturday, but instead announced the death of astronaut Neil… Young.

“Astronaut Neil Young, first man to walk on moon, dies at age 82,” read the NBC News headline shortly after 3 pm EST, which was tweeted out and picked up by thousands of others before it was changed.

As a refresher, Neil Young is a 66-year-old rock star who is very much alive.

Neil Armstrong, an American hero and the first man to walk on the moon, died on Saturday a few weeks after heart surgery.

As reader Bob Roberts predicts,

Next thing you know they’ll be reporting about his cousin, Lance Armstrong, the first man to bike to the moon!

You would think even NBC people could get the facts straight on stories pertaining to the moon, being the moonbats that they are.

It still makes me laugh. Well, not so much laugh as much as sigh and shake my head. NBC is run by people in their early 20's who probably didn't know who Neil Armstrong was.

It does make me laugh, though, to imagine Neil Young singing "It's one small step for a mayan...Wan giant leeep fer mayankinnnd".

Btw, Lance Armstrong was that black guy who played the trumpet, right?

I don't see how this simple mistake (granted, it went out on the internet and a lot of people saw it) is any worse than Romney announcing Ryan as "the next president of the united states". Both were simple, somewhat amusing cases of "cranial flatulence", and I don't judge either party to be stupid or inept based on these simple mistakes.

You on the other hand, took the opportunity to start flinging shit as fast at an entire company as fast as you could.
