The series is tied 1-1 and the next 3 are in Boston. At the end of the 3 games in Boston where will the series stand?

4-1 Celtics sweep
4-1 Lakers sweep
3-2 Celtics
3-2 Lakers

3-2 Lakers I think the lakers experience about deealing with finals will make the difference

I think the Lakers are the better team, so I can not see the Celtics winning three in a row, even on their home court. After five, I think it will be 3-2 Celtics but the Lakers will definitely win one of the three to get back home court advantage and force the Celtics to have to close them out in L.A.

I think L.A. wins in seven though.

After last night.....
That looked like 2008 all over again.

All weekend long here in SoCal much of "the buzz" has been how the Celtics were primed to be swept  What a bunch of dreamers making that silly prediction.

In my opinion the 2-3-2 format distinctly favors the lower seeded team when they manage to split the first two on the road.
I'll say the Celtics will go back to LA leading 3-2.

3-2 Lakers

Yeah...unless you're just clearly the better team in the finals like Detroit's sweep of LA several years back in this format, or San Antonio's of Clevelend it is tough to beat any team in the finals 3 games in a row.

The Lakers need a total team effort to win. Boston, with KG and P. Pierces off performances, proved that they don't.

Celtics in 6

That was pretty telling IMO. That the Celts were dribbling out the last seconds especially when you consider the ft shooting advantage the Lakers had and all the unforced turnovers by the Celts.

There was a lot wrong in game two on both ends, really. The officiating was terrible and it caused a lot of key players (like Kobe) to have to go to the bench a lot (like Ray Allen in game one). Because of that, the back-up guards didn't go in to the bigs enough. Gasol is dominant this series but instead the Lakers had possessions where Artest would dribble for ten to fifteen seconds and then launch a low percentage shot. KG was really off and has been for both games. Odom has yet to do anything in the series. The first half was ALL Ray Allen and the Celtics still only had a six point lead after Allen his 7-threes in the first half!

The story of the series so far has been Rondo/Allen Vs. Kobe/Gasol and how many whistles are blown. Big Baby Davis had WAY too many touches last night. I think the Lakers shot 40 Free Throws or something insane.

Like I said...it wouldn't have been that close save for allot of unforced, brain dead turnovers by the Celts.

Pierce and KG missed wayyy too many shots they otherwise nail. There was enough foul trouble and bench time to go around especially in the Celt's case. It's pretty simple arithmetic though IMO. The Celts are a physical team and the Lakers are going to try and match that because of the way the last Champ series went, they believe they're more physical and plain old just because it's the Celtics.

The fouls shouldn't surprise anyone really at this point with those dynamics in play.

Beyond that...most of what the Celts did is what they do. They collapsed on double teams more effectively against the Lakers than any team I've seen play them.

The story of the game Rondo...great team defense but started with the force on Kobe by Rondo and ended with his block.
