Even if their current paths are not towards a championship, I still love when L.A beats Boston.

And speaking of segues, there is a rumoured deal sending Gasol to Boston for Rondo and Allen. Hmmmm.

Why would Boston give up arguably the best pure PG in the league? And for Gasol!!!!!????? I hope you're talking about the one in Memphis.

LA needs to be offering Bynum if they want to land Rondo. If not, Gasol and some more key players.

i still dont get why the celtics would trade the only player standing for the future of this franchise. they should start to rebuild around rondo right know.
pierce will stay a celt forever so they could trade the rest.

Boston front office believes the upgrade at center and power forward with Gasol is more substantial than the downgrade at point guard with Avery Bradley....according to "sources". I don't know why Ainge is so intent on trading Rondo, but he is. Allen and Garnett are as good as gone next year and will probably be traded this year, and Gasol's contract ends the same time as Pierce in two years and he's expected to retire. Lakers would also probably have to in Goudelock or another prospect and one of their 1st rounders. The only way this makes sense is if they're planning on attracting big free agents to start the post Pierce era. :dunno: They're even talking about trading Pierce. Who knows what's going through their heads.

But if they want to give us Rondo, I'm not going to complain!! I don't think it happens though.

i really dont get the front office of the celtcs. first they trade perkins who is a good defender (if he is not mozgoved) and a good guy in the locker room( as i heard) to destroy any hopes of making a big run in the playoffs. they traded him for the young jeff green so i thought"maybe they want to rebuild". now they want to trade rondo. what are theire plans for this season and the seasons to come... i dont get it. not that i would worry.
i mean without boston miami has less contenders in the east but still .... i dont get it:)

Linsanity continues 38pts 7dimes

3 things about the Lakers:
Artest is a Psycho! always wanting to fight somebody. he should change his name to (MNM) Metta Needs Meds.

Bynum is a bitch that loves to hack.
The Lamar Odom trade fuck them up.

The Lakers need to amnesty Artest, and the Knicks need to sign him.

And the Knicks should trade Melo for Joe Johnson. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it would make both teams better. In case you live in a box sheltered from the world, surely you've all realized that Carmelo makes the Knicks worse. Without him, the offense flows and the defense improves. He'd be perfect for the Hawks, who have no semblance of an organized offense whatsoever anyway. JJ is an unselfish player who makes his teammates better, and who previously played with Amare in Phoenix. The casual fan would think this trade is stupid, but the smart observer realizes it is a great trade for both sides. Of course, it makes too much sense to ever actually happen, as NBA GMs are morons.

Are you Loco? Knicks don't Need/Want that guy on the team. Lakers should send his ass to the D-League.

Knicks had a nice comeback win against the wolves. Linsanity

Btw JR Smith's team missed the playoffs & he could return to the NBA Feb.15

You should see the promotion Lin is getting here in Canada. It's in newspapers, on news channels and sports networks every 2 seconds. You'd think the guy was Jesus with the hype he's getting.

Five games and he is "the next coming of Christ." Call me a cynic but I don't see him in a couple years doing what he is doing. Nice to finally see an Asian-American though do what he is doing on the court. There were a few at my high school that could ball like a motherfucker, but they were short. My Hmong neighbor made varsity and was just nasty, but he was so short. This fucking Lin dude can dunk.

Lin with a double/double in Toronto at the start of the 4th. This is a good game. The guy can ball that's for sure, but I can't see him maintaining this pace.

Also, I like watching this James Johnson guy. Reminds me of L.A Trevor Ariza. All hustle and athleticism.
