The Heat are certainly not soft in the paint, we just don't have size.

I agree with STDiva, Howard wouldn't put the Bulls over the Heat. The only thing he would bring is rebounding, but the Bulls are already a great rebounding team (not really addressing an issue). If you lose Deng, Lebron would just continue to have a field day.

He also brings scoring in the paint, he's a legit 20 and 10 guy something Boozer isn't. You're missing the most important thing though, that Howard would be the second option that Rose desperately needs. On another team he would be the number one player but on the Bulls he's the second option, that is just scary. It is also a matchup that has the potential to utterly dominate the Heat, whose greatest weaknesses are at point guard and center. Rose and Howard together would be a tandem the likes of which we have never seen before. A dynamic young point guard with incredible explosive strength and poise, and a young center hitting the prime of his career, currently averaging well over 20 points and 10 rebounds every night. They would have to go down as the Miami Heat's equals in the title chase.

As a Magic fan, the only guy that mildly interests me that we could get in return for Dwight is Bynum. I guess Deng, Noah, and a couple 1s woulodn't be terrible. Dallas don't have jack shit of interest (I mean unless Dallas gives up Dirk), and Lord help me if we get Brook Lopez, aka the rich man's Eddy Curry (scoring is the only thing he can do at all....acceptable for a SG, not your star center), as the main returns on Dwight.

If everybody didn't sign with Miami, you'd be singing a different tune. Basically what you're saying is, if you're not winning championships immediately, leave and form super teams.

I hope OKC and Chicago dominate the next 15 years.

im not saying they should go right away( wich no player can unless he cries until they buyout or trade him). i said they should be allowed to leave when the contract expires without being targeted by numerous fans.

YEAH and perkins just got mozgoved:D:D haha best dunk of the year.

Dude, we're in the same division as Howard, and he has yet to dominate us... at all!!! His offensive skills are limited, and he continuously comes up small in the clutch situations. The only edge he'll bring is rebounding, but the Bulls usually out rebound the Heat anyways.

Plus, the Heat aren't weak at PG, Wade and Lebron are our PGs. Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole are playing out of their minds this season. As for Center, we don't have great size, but Anthony is a beast defender and he can hold his own. The Heat's only weakness is coaching. There needs to be more late game set plays, rather than Lebron and Wade one-on-one.

exacty what im thinking. anthony is a great defender just limited in the offensive game but we dont need him in the offense. and im so happy we got an explosive point guard on our side with norris cole. he is going to be great and a real weapon on the heat team

Baaaaaaaaaaahahahaha. Griffin gets a starting all star spot?? Because he can dunk? Obv. Love deserved that spot. Fuck the NBA all star game.

Starting lineups.

East.

C - Dwight Howard
PF - Carmelo Anthony
SF - Lebron James
SG - Dwayne Wade
PG - Derrick Rose

West

C - Andrew Bynum
PF - Blake Griffin
SF - Kevin Durant
SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - Chris Paul

Bynum shouldn't be an all star, and Blake shouldn't be starting. Love is averaging more points and more rebounds than Griffin. Chris Bosh also deserved a spot at PF. Melo ain't a PF. Sorry you play the same position as Lebron. You don't deserve to start. You're team is shit, and you're playing like shit.

That said, I'm excited to see CP3 play with Kobe and Bynum. Like he should be. Fuck you Stern!! You're a bitch.

agree with everything you said:)

Carmelo should be nowhere near the phrase "All Star" this year. Just another reason not to watch...

i disagree. i think blake should start. he turned around the consistently worst team in the nba and they are finally outshining the lakers in l.a. thats amazing. he put life into that team. hes humble and a hardworker. so, yeah, he dunks. but dunking isnt as easy as just jumping up there and slamming it down. hes gotta work to sneak by the defense, power his way through. he plays smart.

nothing against love though. its a close call but you gotta give it to blake in the end.

but i do i agree that bynum shouldn't even be an all star though.

but, it is the all star game. its nothing. people kinda stand around and let each other score. no one wants to get hurt trying too hard. its all popularity anyway. trying to set up something exciting than anything. in basketball, dunks are excitement. at least, to the masses.

Fuck Chris Bosh Nobody likes that drama queen! Melo is not a PF we all know that. but the fans voted for him it's a Popularity Contest!!! and you luv to talk shit about the Knicks. you remind me of that Bitch Skip Bayless. worry about your team the Raptors. the Knicks don't have a PG to Distribute the ball. that's why Amare and the Team are struggling.

I'm talking shit about the Knicks because they're shit, not because I'm a hater. I don't like the Raptors either. I follow the Lakers. You know that team that clowns the Knicks every time they play? Melo is a bitch. Amare is a bitch. That team ain't going nowhere. Maybe ya'll can amnesty that albatross contract Chandler has...oh wait, you already used your amnesty on the best PG you've had in years. The Clippers thank you!! Have fun signing PG's nobody else wants.

I also thought a PF might deserve the chance to start at the PF position. Call me crazy. Shoulda thrown Deron Williams, Rondo or Ray Allen at the PF spot. They're just as deserving as 'Melo. LOL.

amare used to be cool. when he was in phx. you see, back then, he didnt care about the money.

I stopped playing attention to who gets voted for the all star game when in 2001 Grant Hill and Alonzo Mourning got voted in after playing a combined four (!!) games and Yao Ming was guaranteed a spot annually cuz he happens to be Chinese. Clearly, the lineups shoulda been....

East

Derrick Rose
Dwyane Wade (My early favorite for DPY)
LeBron James
Chris Bosh/Andrea Bargnani
Dwight Howard

West

Chris Paul
Kobe Bryant
Kevin Durant
Kevin Love (Love >>> Griffin)
Andrew Bynum/Marcin Gortat

If Steve Nash don't make it as a reserve, I'ma be pissed. I'm not saying he's a better player than Chris Paul and Derrick Rose, but he's more valuable to his team than Rose and just as valuable as Paul.

Random rant, Blake Griffin pisses me off. The guy is a fucking ham. Even when his team is getting blown out, he feels the need to showboat his dunks and stare down opponents. Look at the fucking scoreboard, douchebag. Guy dunks. Whoop de doo. Average offensive player outside the paint, below average defender, good not great rebounder. When he is 29 and has lost his athleticism, he'll be useless but still be making big money cuz someone will be stupid enough to give him a fat contract.
