Miami's payroll is almost 30 million less than Dallas. Just sayin.

Yeah, at least the Heat players deserve (ish) the money they make. Stupid ass flexible salary cap. Technically, I think you could sign a bunch of veterans for barely nothin, re-sign them for huge ass contracts, go 50 mill over the cap, trade those guys for new guys who make a little more, and be 60 mill over the cap.

Lebron supposedly took a pay cut, but who is to say what kind of under-the-table shit he's getting, not to mention all the hundreds of millions he will be getting in endorsements when he starts bagging all these titles (IF).

I could assume Dirk is getting under-the-table shit as well, but how could I prove that? I can't. So I'll just assume it doesn't happen.

And for endorsements, Lebron probably took a huge hit there. He would have probably made more with New York or Chicago.

As far as Miami, you can keep it. I got an aunt and uncle in St. Pete' and the humidity is for fucking bugs. Step outside and 5 seconds later your asshole is sweating? Nah...And the first time I took a dip in the ocean I got stung by a damn jellyfish. Never again...:1orglaugh

Good luck tomorrow but I expect Dallas to go to Miami looking to clinch title #1. :hatsoff:

While you guys up north are shoveling 2+ feet snow for about 4 months, I'll be drinking mojitos on the beach, looking at half naked exotic women. Some can handle the humidity, some can't. There's pros and cons to every area.

Oscar Robertson says MJ isn't the greatest ever!?!

Kaman for Iguadala??

Lakers looking at TJ Ford??

im Pro keeping Derek Fisher. his numbers are not flashy but he brings 2 things that have helped the team, leadership and a presence that Kobe listens to.
Andre Iguadala makes sense for the clippers. they get another scorer to help Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon and it secures DeAndre Jordans spot at the center position for good, and unlike the first AI the Sixers had, the one they have now actually plays team ball instead of going for 30 or 40 points every game

wade is a beast

Truly. You could see how hard hit he was for that little flub at the end of game 4, like it was all on him to make an extremely unlikely 3-pointer and bring in the win, when in reality, what more could he have done to give Miami the game? Lebron really needs to step it up.

That said, win or lose, the real hero of this series has got to be Dirk Nowitzki. Love watching that guy.

Great fucking series.

Fish has all the intangibles, but he can't play D anymore and he's just not good enough to be a starting PG. He can bring those same skills while on the bench but LA needs someone else, even if it's Blake. I think he can thrive in a non triangle system.

@Bayamonxxx Ellis is rumoured to be going a lot of places. Apparently West doesn't like them both in the backcourt.

Charles Barkley: Miami Heat (and their fans) "Whiny bunch"

Truth!!!

It's a way of life, just ask all the Canadians of the board.

And while I don't have to fill the gas tank of the mower 6-8 months of the year, as for me I'd rather be hung from a tree than have Christmas without snow, but that's just me. Watching 'It's a Wonderful Life' wouldn't be the same without the snow on the ground outside. It's nice to get down south a week in mid-winter though, which is all a person really needs.

i dont take anything Charles Barkely says about the Heat and their fans seriously. He is a big braggart when hes right, a sore loser when hes not, he picked the Bulls to win the East, he got egg on his face and his only response is to harp on them and the fans even more than he already did, so i take it he said those things with an agenda in mind

What Charles said was a first hand observation. That shit had nothing to do with his predictions, he's calling it like he sees it live. Let's not act like he was at home on the shitter talking about it... come off that bullshit.

They come off that way on TV as well, and I'm not just saying that because I hate that team more than any other team on the planet. The crowd is stale - stiff. A bunch of stiff ass old rich white guys who've probably never shot a bucket of hoops their entire lives.

Now isn't Shaq kicking himself for following James to Cleveland? :1orglaugh He coulda went out a champion, but now he's just a washed up legend. But just imagine if the DID get Shaq at $5mill a year.

I don't know, I think he's still pretty much of a legend.

Charles seems to be the conductor on the Heat Hater Train. Just sad.
