And Miami is up big on Boston.

Nice to see Wade get back on track against the Celtics. Last year in the playoffs, Wade averaged 33 PPG against Boston. If Wade keeps playing like this, Miami has a great shot at getting past Boston.

But the X factors are Rondo and Shaq. If Rondo can get get his shit together, and Shaq comes back decent, I don't think Miami has a shot at beating Boston.

I wouldn't count on it. Rondo has never been able to do the one thing that would make him the best point guard. Hit jumpers. If he cannot consistently make jumpshots or FT's, Boston is finished. Shaq is just flat out done. Even when his foot was okay, he was laboring up and down the court. Glen 'Fat Baby' Davis is not getting it done defensively, and Boston's bench is below sub-par. I think this is Miami's series to lose. Joel Anthony need to keep from fouling excessively, and if the role players can provide 7-10+ pts a piece, they've got this.

champs & coach jackson to high to win an easy one vs the punk ass mavs WTF 1st we blow a 16 point lead then WTF was that in the 4 quarter with the refs and shit and the time out, wrong subs OMFG coach jackson made me fell high and i was sober as shit tonight... then after all that a dumb ass foul by gasol... ANYWAYS champs in 6 game 2 yet another early must win.... STOP BEING LAZY LAKERS

Ahhhhhhhh it's frustrating being a Laker fan.

Atlanta beats Chicago. The Hawks matchup well with them. It'll be a long series.

My Bulls looked absolutely horrible. From the jump we looked lethargic and lost on offense and defense, as evidenced by the opening run which left us down 9 in the first few minutes. They played more themselves toward the end, but it was simply Joe Johnson's night. I highly doubt he's got another 5-for-5 3 pt. night left, but I expect the Bulls to ratchet up the D real quick!

I don't think the Hawks will win this series, but the Bulls showed why I'm not confident in them. They're not an efficient offensive team, their best scorer is a PG who shoots 43% (37% in playoffs). This isn't a recipe for success. The good thing about the Bulls is that they play great defense so they're always going to be in games.

I just saw the AP report an NBA playoff update: STDiva is on suicide watch again.

That would be awesome. I hate this NBA where only the top 4 teams in each conference have a shot.

well as much as I'm wanting sleeper teams to be in finals, I still want to watch Miami or Boston or Chicago compete against Dallas or Lakers. This will be pretty much interesting to watch

Parity is the key to success for any sports league. Look at the NFL and NHL. Anybody who makes the playoffs can win it all. How does that ruin things??

if there was a grizzlies/hawks finals, would it be lower rated than the spurs/cavs finals?

atlanta vs memphis is pretty good match, but i bet lot more people wanting to see kobe against miami's big 3... or boston revenge against LA... or chicago meeting Phil jackson again but time as opponents.. That is if LA wins in West

Probably. Because most "basketball fans" are just fairweather assholes who only give a shit about their own team when they're winning.

well that's the basic right? if you're from detroit, you cheer for Pistons :) and you are wanting Pistons to be the champion

Obviously. But that doesn't mean they can't watch the Finals, or any other game, for that matter. Basketball is exciting, even when the Lakers aren't playing.

I'm a little concerned about my Bulls after last nights game. Once again they got off to a really slow start just like they did in all five games against the Pacers, something needs to change. They cannot keep starting off games this way and dig themselves into such a big hole. They've looked like a totally different team here in the playoffs.

On the bright side though D-Rose has won the MVP award.:nanner:
