I don't live in Midwest area, so I don't know the intensity of this "rivalry". I haven't really heard much about this "rivalry" from the media, so I'll take your word on it.

All I know is that the Pacers have risen their level of play, and the Bulls are playing down to their competition.

There is no rivalry between these two teams. The Pacer's have risen their level of play because of Frank Vogel. He has this team playing much differently than they were under Jim O'Brien. This Pacer's team is pretty solid. They have a team full of role players and all they need is that one star to become a competitive team in the East.

The Knicks may have all the offense, Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Chauncey Billups, etc. But they can't get back and play defense. Bring back the days of Hubie Brown as head coach. They deserve to be swept by the Celtics.

I told everyone that the Knicks were not a threat whatsoever, and they got swept. I said the Magic are overrated, and they're about to get uncermoniously ousted. Orlando can wave goodbye to Dwight Howard and head right back to the deepest depths of the East.

The Miami Heat are the worst team at closing out games. They are 1-19 from the field in the final 10 seconds when trailing by 3 or fewer (or tied). Lebron has never been a good closer and I think he's knows that too. I'd take Kobe, D-Rose, Wade,etc to take the final shot over Lebron.

shows how little disparity there are between a 1 and 8 seed in the western conference. that is why memphis wanted to play the spurs. they knew they could win against them.

I saw a James Worthy interview before the playoffs where he picked this matchup as the most likely first round series to be won by the underdog. It looks like he knew what he was talking about.

You'll probably laugh at me Diva but I think the Lakers are really missing Jordan Farmar in this series.

im convinced the Lakers have their championship planned out by now....

when theyre in the mood to win, theyre going to blow out anyone who stands in their way, when theyre feeling lazy, they play like rookies (cant make shots, dont play defense). im starting to think they want to make things hard on themselves on purpose
