Well TSN would rather show curling than the NBA's marquee matchup. Even the Leafs got pushed to Leafs TV. Who is making these decisions???

Not trying to take anything away from Kevin Love's double-double milestone, but the "MVP" chants for K-Love in Minnesota last night were hilarious :1orglaugh

http://espn.go.com/espn/elias

Plus this "double-double" bullshit is not even a record.:dunno: Just some media manufactured hype & even Moses Malone blew off the milestone as he had never even heard of a "double-double" when he played.

Wilt Chamberlain had at least 3 streaks of 227,220 & 133 games with so called 'double-doubles' :1orglaugh & many other NBA players like Elvin Hayes had longer streaks as recently as 1974. And there teams had won more than 15 freaking games:facepalm:

This 'since the merger' is absolute bullshit.

This is a lot like the sack records in the NFL. Sheer bullshit.

Woah, let's not get ahead of ourselves now. Do you really want Deacon Jones to come bustin' down your door?:1orglaugh

It seems that Mr. Rose in Chicago has received the blessings of the basketball deity that is Micheal Jordan as far as the title of league MVP goes. With the Heat playing like babies and acting the part as well, I doubt any of their 'elite' 3 are worthy of the title. Other than Kevin Durant or Dwight Howard, no one else is even in contention.

Amare should at least get some love for MVP. He's had a solid year and helped bring NY back to respectability. I still feel Lebron is the MVP though. But I'd love to see Rose/Howard/Durant win instead.

YES! Miami beat L.A.!

http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=310310014

fuck yeah! :nanner:

snaps their 5-streak losing, and stops the 8-win streak for LOS lakers (noche latina, y'all!)

Bosh with 24 played really good (he better! after his awful last weeks) and Lebron dime everyone and D-Wade played a great 4th quarter...

so, the Heat are not finished after all...

About God damn time!

It was nice to see the "Big 3" all play a solid role. Bosh was good in the post, Lebron did pretty much a little of everything, and Wade was the closer.

I just hope we keep it up.

By now it should be quite clear. The answer to the problem was simple: Get some shots for everybody else. 31 pts tonight for players other than the big 3, and it resulted in a win. Playing 3-on-5 doesn't work well really.

Sure. It's cuz they all sat down with some Forties and had a powwow. :D

Give Denver some props. CA-less and they smack Phoenix. Nene scored 22 and Karl is breathing easier.

I really though the Bucks would be better this year.

i didn't.

i thought DETROIT would be better this year. I mean, Tayshaun + Hamilton + T-Mac + Charlie-V + Big Ben... Damn! that's a hell of a roster!

i remember when T-Mac was the "next big thing"... everybody was talking that he would be the next MJ and all...
too bad those fuckin' injuries and his weak mind blow that story away :(

Yeah but the Bucks were already a playoff team the previous year, and added Maggette to that roster. Detroit added an already defeated T-Mac to a shitty, great-on-paper lineup.
