Really thought Miami was going to blowout New York. They put in a lot of energy to win that game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Miami suffers a letdown tomorrow against Houston.

Ugh, Raptors somehow got a victory over the Mavs tonight, but it isn't filling me with much optimism. On one hand, we won without Bargnani, but then again the Mavs didn't have Nowitzki. Put him on the court and it would have been a 30 point blowout for Dallas. Still, a win is a win, I guess, and Ed Davis showed a lot of potential tonight.

The Nuggets rebound in a big way and again without Carmelo Anthony. Chauncey had a big game. I wasn't aware that Denver had the NBA record for not losing four in a row over 304 games. I guess that's somewhat noteworthy.

It was the worst defensive performance for the Heat this season, but it didn't matter because Wade is on a hot streak. 45 points tonight, had 40 last night, shooting 59%.

Not good enough!! Wade, what a fucking scrub. It's his fault they gave up all those points. Now LeBron James, he's balling.

I didn't get the green shoes at all. It looked like someone puked on their kicks. Maybe I'm missing something here, but I have no idea why they would wear green shoes.:dunno:

:dunno: seems liked they'd have been a better choice for Saint Paddy's Day than Christmas, but I still liked 'em. I think I might get me a pair :D

what a shot by tyreke evans. o.j. mayo has to feel bad:) nailing a buzzer beater and than getting beaten by a halfcourt shot at the buzzer

Easy there Aces...if DWade had showed up to camp and preseason we might've seen this from Game 1.

It's not like I have an ax to grind against DWade. I just think when a player is playing like crap, he needs to be benched :dunno: Nothing personal. Just business.

I was one of the first to call out Wade on his struggles, and I'm a HUGE DWade fan. But to call for a benching... that was a little over the top. Especially for a player to DWade's caliber.

Even with that slump, DWade's numbers are almost identical to Lebron's.

What if the Bulls had drafted Michael Beasley instead of D-Rose? The Bulls had the first pick in the 2008 draft and the Heat the second pick. It would've been D-Rose and D-Wade and that right there is a good 1-2. So Imagine what the Heat lineup could've been had they drafted Rose: D-Rose at the point, D-Wade at SG, Lebron at SF, and Bosh at PF. That is a damn good lineup.

I think I just jizzed in my pants. :drool2:

If they had drafted Rose, they never would have signed LeBron. :2 cents:

Only a bandwagon fan would call for the benching of Wade! Are you fuckin serious? Kobe could shoot 0-189 5 games in a row and I wouldn't call for his benching. Wade is the Heat. Your fanboy boner for Lebron is the only reason you call yourself a fan. I'm actually starting to question your USC/New England devotion. Are you one of those guys who just roots for winning programs/franchises? Seriously. You're calling for the benching of arguably the best SG in the league? Why? Because the Heat aren't breaking the Bulls 72 win record? Check yourself son. You're making the rest of us basketball fans laugh.

My Knicks lost to Orlando last night but Landy Fields and Wilson Chandlers development is still impressing me.

As far as the Heat go, they are a legit threat to the title and a healthy Bulls, Celtics and a clicking Magic are there only competition in the East and even still they've shown five minute runs of absolute brilliance, if they can do that more often they could live u to the 70 wins many were predicting next year.

Mavs really need Dirk, you would think they could beat the raps with a line up with Marion, Kidd, Terry, Chandler, and Butler but nope can't beat Toronto.

Spurs looks scary as do the Celtics and Mavs when they are healthy.

Great season so far.

you are right. and with wade its not only the offense , its his defense to. you now that he is one of the greatest on his position he just needed a little playing time due to his preseason injury. and now he is back. benching him would have been the worst thing to do

You know, by benching it implies coming off the bench. It happens. Gilbert Arenas is dealing with it now. And, with DWade, PRESUMABLY, it would be temporary! The guy missed camp and preseason games! Nobody can just step on the court without practice and dominate from Day 1.

Given Kobe's struggles this season...he's gonna need to be rested more this season or the Lakers are out in Round 1. :dunno: MEaning, the bench is in his future too! :thefinger
