There's going to be a new MVP this season. A guy that won't win it, but I think should be in the discussion is Manu Ginobili. He has been tearing it up for the Spurs, who currently have the best record in the NBA. And guess what? He is finally starting! No longer playing that sixth man role.

Nice to see D-Wade get back on track. I've never seen a 5 game stretch like that from him before.

It almost seemed like it was going to carry into tonight's game as well, only 4 points in the first half. But he hit two jumpers to start the 3rd quarter and from there it was the D-Wade show.

thats the miami heat i want to see. ok wade had a rough start in the first half and lebron had way to many turnovers but who cares. as long as they keep winning. very ugly foul by armstrong and good to see howard defend his teammate.

Remember...it was Washington. A John Wall-less Washington.

Yes, but the headline in this game is that Wade played great. Wade's been struggling against good and bad teams, but when he plays great the Heat usually win. Hopefully, this is a trend throughout the season.

Oh, Jesus Christ. I have The Score running on tv right now while I'm doing work, and of course, it's all about Lebron. "Hey, Miami is playing Cleveland in Thursday, so here is a COMPLETE RECAP OF EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED!"

We talk so much about the Heat, and here are the Lakers losing 4 straight.

Even with the struggles, I think the Lakers are the team to beat, and when playoff basketball starts they'll be the number 1 seed.

I was hoping nobody would bring it up. :( They need Bynum for a proper defensive rotation. Or Ratliff at the very least. It would push Odom back to the bench and solidify things in the paint. We're just going to have to tough it out until then though.

In other news...San Antonio is sic. Looks like they're pushing for one last title for Duncan.

Man, Cleveland sucked tonight. Didn't even throw any chairs.

Last year, the Raptors were 7-12. This year, without Chris Bosh, they are 8-11. Played a great game against OKC tonight, though of course they were without Durant. Bargnani looked good, Barbosa looked good, the fans were good and loud. They aren't going to be mistaken for the Lakers, but if they keep up the effort throughout the season they'll get back to the playoffs.
