I really want Ariza to stay but there are 2 teams who can offer more than MLE to Ariza and I can see him leaving for sure. I'll be happy if Lakers can resign Lamar and get Artest, who will make more of a difference in LA than Ariza. Hopefully Kobe will convince him to go to Lakers and bring another championship to LA.

It would be funny if Artest accepted the MLE to play in L.A and Ariza didn't. Artest is 10x time player Ariza is. but I have a feeling Artest and Kobe's past will prevent that from happening.

If Artest signs with Cleveland, I'm afraid that would be the end for the rest of the league. Having Shaq in the middle, and Artest patrolling the perimter and defending the opposing teams best player, leaving Lebron to save his energy for his 35-12-12-5-4 stat line, would be too much for any team. The Cavs were the best defensive team in the NBA last year. Hopefully they don't add the best defender in the league.

There is no reason to watch the NBA next year. Orlando and Boston will battle for the chance to get swept by the Lakers. Cleveland looks like a 3rd Banana now. LeBron might as well pack his bags. He must've told Artest he was heading to NYC after next season.

Rasheed going to Boston won't be enough. Since Artest signed for peanuts, I bet the Lakers will have the opportunity to sign Lamar Odom to a deal to keep him too.

And to think that Jason Kidd is going to get $30mil from Dallas or the Knicks while Artest, a player twice as good, gets almost half as much.....holy shit.

Ya really eh? I was wondering a couple days ago if I were an athlete, where I would want to play. During the off-season you are basically on vacation at home in Miami. Plus Wade is there, so you might even win a title too.

Artest to the Lakers is so unbelievable. I hate losing Ariza but Artest is 10x the player that Ariza is and the window of opportunity in LA to win a championship is about 3-4 years, by that time Artest's contract is up and Lakers should start rebuilding (unless Kupchak has some more tricks up his sleeve) but Lakers should win few more titles in the meantime. So fucking happy right now.

I have no clue about Miami, and, I hate to sound like a broken record here, but I'm incredibly disappointed in Miami. DWade is the best player in the league and he has a bunch of SHIT on his team.
