Kobe Bryant scored 44 points, passing Jerry West as the Los Angeles Lakers' All time career scorer, but it wasn't enough to beat the sucky Memphis Grizzlies
way to go Kobe...
Nothing for nothing jaygod, but my Grizzlies don't suck anymore. Last year this statement would have been fine in our book, but they are 26-21 (already eclipsed last season's win total), with an 18-6 record at home. That means their away record is 8-15, which albeit isn't too wonderful, but if Chris Wallace adds a scoring option off the bench this team will make the playoffs and put a scare into whomever they face in the first round.
They beat Toronto, Miami, Oklahoma, Portland (twice), Dallas, Cleveland, Denver, Phoenix (twice), Utah, San Antonio, Orlando, and now put the Lakers on that list. All playoff bound teams.
Give some credit where credit is due bro.
ZBo, Rudy Gay, OJ Mayo, Marc Gasol, and (underwhelming PG) Mike Conely.
I'd go to war with those five.
