Name That T.V Show.......

I'm trying to remember the name of a T.V show, maybe someone could help.

It was a not-too-serious sci-fi drama about a couple of people who flew around space in little ships that looked like giant insects, visiting lots of planets and having adventures with aliens and whatnot. There was a weedy-looking guy with a train driver hat who was the sort of boss, and a hot blonde chick (yes, you guessed my motive :1orglaugh) as his assistant. I don't remember much else about it, but there can't be many programmes with those details. Any ideas? :wave2:

It was one of my favourite shows once upon a time. It's fourth and final season was crap though.

yeah that show is bad ass i skipped over it for the longest time then i saw an episode where they played chess with their heads and was like wow.
