Oh I know. I worked in the seafood business for about 5 years. I was just putting in the mercury comment more as a joke. You're dead on, swordfish especially and darker meat fish. Don't go eating them more than twice a week. I usually don't eat dark meat fish except when I catch bluefish, weakfish or striped bass locally. Especially with the bluefish, I've got to season it alot with spices or tomato sauce. Dark meat fish does usually taste kind of lousy to me. But it's fun and economical even for me to catch them.
hehe yeah, i used to be a commercial fisherman and i also worked in other aspects of of fishing industry so i know many of the secrets too. dark meat fish are too strong for my taste, i dont even like yellowtail. tuna is as dark as i go (though the meat does turn white as it cooks), and i prefer albacore over yellowfin and bluefin any day.
