Movies you can watch over and over

Well as he looks at his DVD collection...

I could put a good list down but try stick to the more popular one...

In no order...

All the Raiders of the Lost Ark
All the Back to the Future
All the Lord of the Rings
The Magnificent Seven
Great Escape
The Longest Day
The Wanderers
The Warriors
Star Wars 2,3,4,5,6 (I never knew one character could totally ruin what would have been a good film with Episode 1)

But I could watch most things with Steve McQueen in as he could make a bad film good. Bullitt most likely his best for me.

The other would be John Candy. I just found this guy so funny. Especially in Planes, Trains and Automobiles a true classic.

Could I stick Taken in here or does a mini series not count?

National Lampoons Vacations&European Vacation
The Goonies
Better Off Dead
Jaws
Platoon
The Breakfast Club
Half Baked
Friday
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
The Last American Virgin
Transylvania 65000
Young Frankenstein
Monty Python Holy Grail

I know it's more than three, but I just got going and those just came off the top of my head. I tend to be able to watch comedies more than anything else. I cannot watch a good suspense movie more than once because knowing takes all the fun out of it.

three more from me, which i will label as 'classics':
1.The Lavender Hill Mob
2.Key Largo
3.Now Voyager
super thread this:thumbsup:

The 3 Bourne movies.

Or Fight Club, Waynes World and Goodfellas.

Some people are cheating. You're only supposed to name three. It's very cool to follow the rules.

This has long been a message forum peeve of mine. Especially when a thread asks for ONE! Can't tell you how many times there's been a thread where it's said "who is the best..." or "what is the greatest..." and inevitably, people will start spewing off huge lists of the best or greatest. Best and/or greatest means ONE!!!!

My whoops, I didn't see that the thread here said only three. Sometimes I don't read very carefully.

I find it's usually cooler to break the rules - as long as no one but the breaker gets hurt.

The only rules I follow are the ones I agree with and/or when I have no choice.

Airplane!
Blues Brothers
Slap Shot

There's a ton of others, but those are my big three.
