I have to agree with you , the old myth that harleys are unreliable and fall to bits is way out of date, nowadays they are extremely well made, my xl1200s is a pre rubber mount type- i wouldnt call it smooth but it certainly doesnt shake bits loose. any way isnt the harley rumble what gives them their character, . sounds great with the screamin-eagle slashcuts!. Ive had my fair share of *** bikes too mostly 70,s and 80,s models -plus a virago 750 ,japans attempt at a custom cruiser. I certainly dont knock the quality of *** bikes its all according to personal requirements.
