Don't really care about the most Expensive car, to me the best super car, ever, was any Group B rally car, especially the Audis, followed by the mid 1990s McLaren F1 and the Shelby Supercars Ultimate Aero.

Honorable mention to the Jaguar XJ 220 and the Porsche 959.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
So how many inches can one expect to achieve in length after purchasing one of these cars?

Once in a $2 million+ car, I'm sure that any supermodel will tell a man with 3 inches +/- that he makes Peter North look like Peewee Herman. Course, if you don't take her shopping at Tiffany's, she'll probably tell you the truth. :(

I like the way you think. :hatsoff:

And yeah, the Group B cars were nothing short of amazing. I wish they'd show reruns of those races on Speed or ESPN! Until they get some of these newer breed supercars out on the track, it's hard for me to go ga-ga over them. The XJ-220 and the McLaren F1 all proved themselves on track. Even the Ferrari F40 was a decent enough race car. IMO, too many of these new ones are more like trailer queens/museum pieces... cause they don't/can't race. :nono:

Still, an interesting topic none the less!

Sorry to the O.P. for going so off topic.;)

But I would take Michele Mouton's Pike's Peak, Audi Quattro S1 over a new expensive Lambo any day..:)

I am so offended the topic of my expensive car thread has moved on to other expensive cars.

(I'd take the Audi, too)
