Most Brutal/Disturbing Movies ever

Men Behind The Sun - Far too unsettling.
Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood - Probably the most agonizing film I have ever seen.

I can't tolerate watching this kinda garbage anymore. As far as I'm concerned, it's built for one purpose - to disturb and disgust.

what the fuck you lookin at?
Ogrish was a fucked up site.

The forums were full of sicko`s who loved all these beheading videos etc.

In that case I would have fit in just fine!

Ichi The Killer, You will not be the same after watching it.

I was waiting for someone to mention this.

Takashi Miike has done a few really good disturbing movies. If you like Ichi The Killer, check out the episode Miike did for the Masters Of Horror series. Easily the hardest film I've ever had to watch.

Irreversible also has one of the most brutal beating scenes I've ever seen and an ultra realistic rape scene which would make anybody uncomfortable.

How about the 1984 British movie "Threads" ???

The last half, and especially the last third, are extremely disturbing. This movie is very hard to get out of your head! You can watch it online for free right here:

Ichi wasn't that bad. With all the humor relief during it, the torture/violence scenes were easily tolerable. I will look into this Masters Of Horror episode though.

As for whoever said the remake of The Hills Have Eyes, man... That's some tame stuff. You might want to look into more underground movies if violence/gore/tension is your thing, there are some pretty harsh ones around.

I didn't see this myself - it's not snuff - but a video of clowns spit-roasting people on guillotines before beheading them, continuing to spit roast them by fucking their necks, whilst showing the dying heads what they are doing to the rest of the bodies. The finale was a bukkake over the faces of the dismembered heads who were then made to kiss before they died.

It was a fake movie, and I'm not sure if I want to see it or even know its name.

Just thought I'd mention it.

I havent read the thread but did anyone mention Cannibal Holocaust?
edit: yea I just caught that.

Theres this other movie which the name eludes me right now but it was show with a camcorder kind of style and the guy finds his girlfriend cheating and he kills them. I am looking for the name now.

I'm not sure why, but Se7en messed with my head for several days after I watched it the first time. I'm not normally disturbed by horror/thriller movies, but it just got under my skin somehow.

I Spit On Your Grave. Worst f-n' movie ever. I still am pissed at my friend for making me sit through that piece of shit.

Yeah that movie is very meh. I thought it'd be good with the girl being naked most of the time but it's not. In a real world that girl won't even be alive at the end of the ordeal, instead the guys are stupid enough to let her live and in very close proximity where she can exact revenge. Whatever.

Earthlings is a very disturbing movie about how we as humans treat animals like industrial products. There's one scene in particular that made me cry where you see a racoon being skinned alive. In the next shot you see the racoon on a pile of carcasses still alive and slowly dying.
