I watched some of it. I watched the first two fights of the live finale last night but I really didn't care that much about it so I went to bed before the two main events.
Yeah, started out slow. Some good fights though. The Huerta/Guida was awesome.
The TUF Finale was the best yet overall, Which do you think was fight of the night Koppenhaver v Rollings or Guida v Huerta?

Oh yeah, that Guida/Huerta fight was awesome. Every time Guida gets into the octagon, you know it's going to be a fun fight to watch!

Ok, so what is everybody's predictions for Chuck vs. Wanderlai? I'm picking Chuck to win.
Here is my thinking:
- Wand hasn't fought in almost 10 months, Is that long enough for ring rust to set in?
-Chuck is probably going to have the support of the crowd.
-I hate to bring this up but the question has been raised numerous times: were Pride superstars fed weaker fighters? Also, a lot of the pride fighters have had trouble when they went over to the UFC. I hate to open the whole Pride vs. UFC can of worms, but could it be possible that some Pride fighters were overrated?
-Just how good a striker is Wanderlai? He has been criticized for being just a brawler. I could see an argument made for his striking skills either way.
- Which brings me to my last point (finally, I know): In his last few fights he hasn't exactly been the "Axe Murder" that won him most of his fights. That is to say that he hasn't fought with the total aggression and complete abandon that helped define his fighting style. The reason for bringing this up is because if you are one of the people that would argue that he doesn't have a lot of technical skill, what else does he have but his ruthless aggression (Which, as I said, he doesn't seem to be using anymore)?
So after my complete amateur analysis I think one thing is painfully clear- I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about.

love em both, never actually seen a live pride event though but seen enough of it on youtube and other places an im always watchin ufc on the tv
