missfreeones - anyone else bored?

OCSM’s who have been here for years but don’t get votes is dumb.
Having tens of thousands of people voting that have never been on freeones is dumb.
My pet peeve is when an OCSM puts up a series of hot photos, then some dickheads “quote” the pics and just say “that’s hot!”, so you have the same pics posted over and over and it takes forever just to scroll through.

Try going trough something like that on dial-up. I can literally go and make myself lunch and come back after I have eaten everything and still not have a page loaded up all the way.

As for the contest is there anyone here that knows even a little about the industry, the Internet, and has a little bit of common sense that actually didn't think something like this would happen to it?

I have to say, it is a whole lot less pink around here lately!

Look...I agree that the thrill isn't there...but look at the upside: we got to meet Miss Hybrid, there are a shitload of very fine Nina Mercedez pics to see, more Vicky and Gisele and Mariah and a lot of OCSMs to see; a few came and got into a few good threads of their own...all in all, it cost us nothing, we have more than we did before, and there are a lot more ladies than before active here on the boards...
And it's not over yet, how do we know the OCSM tide will go out...maybe the ladies will see the audience here is worth more than the contest only?
Vicky, Sparky, Nina, and a few other OCSMs have been here on and off for a long time...JaneB, you're a site icon almost, Nina and Vicky, Sparky, Tatyana, Isobel Wren, and a bunch of our site buddies have been around a lot...

Quit voting for what amounts to phantom FreeOnes OCSMs, and vote the name and money to our friends...and who cares if the noobie OCSMs don't come around more than the 8 or 10 times they've visited?

Once I realized how painfully obvious it was that only 3 or 4 girls actually had a shot of winning I lost interest. Not to mention that I wouldn't be able to get the time off to go to the prize, so that was a bummer.

I think, but I'm not sure. I heard there were some rogue Vulcans up in it the first year.

But jokes aside, hopefully the FreeOnes team will learn something from this first year, and next year some of the bugs (and the length of it all!) will be worked out.

Trust me we are taking notes. This is our first time and allthough i think it is a fun ride sofar we will take a lot of suggestions in serious consideration.

I am looking forward to the OCSM contest. It is supposed to be for the ladies that have been active OCSM's on here for a while. That should be fun.

to be honest, i think it would have been a better contest if you had to be a registered FreeOnes member in order to vote and if there wasn't prize money involved.

a good gesture would have been to pay the winners expenses to the award party but other than that, money just clouded a good intention.

Anyway, all contests that last more than a few hours get boring very fast, except for the people competing.
