Hello, everyone in the contest is attempting to get votes. These ladies are doing something wonderful and bringing attention to animals in need is a very noble cause.

This is admirable but seems like an attempt to get votes. Why not announce this after you have won?

I have adopted two wonderful dogs (Knuckles and Gizmo) from Julia's rescue program and she has traveled 6k miles to bring them to me in Europe. I didn't know about you being a dog rescuer too, Vicky, and now i love you even more. Thanks for the great gesture and i hope you girls will win.

this is the kinda dog i would like to have, sar mountain dog, they are huge but very smart and friendly.

This is my rescue baby, Ziggy. He came from a shelter who sells animals into research...yes, that is actually done in this country! Everyone thinks he's a Lab pup but I had a DNA test done and he's actually a Lab/Cocker Spaniel/Australian Terrier mix. Saving him has been one of the most amazing things I have ever done!

I also have Phyllis, a pure bred Lab. I did get her from a breeder but it was years ago and I didn't know any better. She loves having a little brother to pester her!

I have an all white Bull Terrier named Beaver. 4 yrs old, 56 lbs and super awesome.

I also have a 90 lb red nose Pit named Ramsey who is a rescue. I think 90% of My Instagram pictures are of my dogs if you care to see them.

When I first met him in the pound he had lost most of his hair from being tied up outside for ever (he was taken away for cruelty) and he would not come out of his cage at the pound because he was terrified of everyone and everything....

Great dog, loyal, obedient and would not hurt a fly... why anyone abused him is beyond me....

I agree 100%. I have 2 dogs...rescuing dogs is a noble thing, but you shouldn't use it as a tool to obtain votes. If you happen to win, then announce that you are donating to charity. Pushing this on everyone to get votes is classless and tasteless. You already won, give someone else a chance.
