SNAFU.....Situation Normal, ALL Fucked UP for the past 12 hours or so!

Anyone who voted in the past 12 hours or so.....I wouldn't be so certain that your votes actually were registered.....because they almost assuredly were not!

At least I'm able to watch the Flyers-Canucks game streaming on Yahoo Sports while I wait "patiently!"

Hey jitna, I don't know if you get to watch the Flyers much on tv, but Yahoo Sports is streaming the Flyers-Canucks game tonight for free.....it's just starting....so even though you can't get your votes to register (like the rest of us), you can still get to watch your Flyers anyway!

I was watching the Eagles on tv, and the Flyers on my laptop. But yeah, you can't win tonight! First the Eagles (and Vick's 2 uncharacteristic fumbles....that really hurt), then the Flyers are getting manhandled by the Canucks.....heck you already missed Boucher....he got yanked about midway through the 2nd! Sad thing is that if Favre had been able to play for the Vikings.....I say the Eagles win....like they should have anyway!

The voting system is still really fucked up.....I still can't get my votes to actually register (what else is new).....but the total vote count actually went down AGAIN.....now it is showing 851,118, after showing 851,140 and 851,173 before that.....but of course it just stays there (like before) every time I try to vote!

Without trying to sound like a broken record.......if you voted in the contest in the past 12-14 hours or so......the system has been fucked up during that time. Despite the fact that you received a "Thanks for your vote" message......I'm 99.9% certain that your votes did not actually get recorded/registered! If you would have gone back to the voting page, you would have seen that you still had all of your votes left, and no votes were actually showing as having been recorded. It seems to be happening to everyone.....so I seriously doubt there are any exceptions!

I know someone said they e-mailed the webmaster(s) early on in the SNAFU, and still haven't heard back. Guess PMing Petra or someone couldn't hurt. I still say that voting should be extended a day at least!
