Actually this is the perfect example of why the hypocrisy of "everyone has sex, but it has to be hidden for it to be ok" needs to change. By the way, this is a perfect indication of why the minimum age needs to be raised to 21. You had a girl do something stupid at the age of 18 and ruined her life.

What about a boy being forced to register for the draft at the age of 18 and possibly get blown to bits by a roadside bomb if there was a draft, otherwise he goes to prison? Or that same boy (or even a girl now, I guess) volunteering for the military and getting blown away at age 18?

IMO, since the age of consent to enter a contract, join the military and vote is 18 in most states, then a girl who decides to do porn at 18 just has to think things through better if she thinks she might want to enter a field that would frown on that decision. And besides, her life isn't ruined. She just can't wear some silly crown or a sash any longer. She still has both of her arms and legs. She can still lead a full life.
