Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Im sorry but its wrong to hack in cell phones or computers and post people's personal pictures.

You're absolutely right...unfortunately, there are MANY people out there, that don't know wrong from right, and just as many that will pay for people to do wrong. Part of the appeal is, the fact that it is wrong to look. It's always better to see a celeb that never does nude scenes, and has a "slip", then a celeb that is always willing to show it off, and puts it out there.

More than that, it's illegal. I hope the asshole who did that will receive a tough sentence. Justice should protect the righ for any individual, famous or not to have some privacy, to have a private life.

A hacker who hacks the cloud to get private pics of celeb is not very different of the NSA hacking our cellphones & email. In both cases it's a violation of people's privacy

And yet the fucks who collapsed the worlds economy still walk free???

What a fucked up mess our society is.

Yep, the bank pays a "record" fine that's like the money they make within 3 days and that's it. Because they are "too big to jail"

Jennifer Lawrence. Doing what women do, enjoying what men can give them. Life is life. Just don't put it on a "cloud". The world goes on.

Okay, so I understand the right to privacy issue. And yes, the person who did this is a shit bag. On the other hand, I did always want to see Kate Upton's tits... so there's that.

My point is this: why are you backing up nude photos to iCloud anyway? Are you really going to be that devastated if you lose them? Also, there are apps out there that store photos in a password protected vault. They're like $.99. Wouldn't it have been worth the money to buy that app and store your pictures in there? As a celebrity, your right to privacy is constantly violated anyway. Some people have no goddamn boundaries. Why not add the extra layer of security in case your phone is stolen or some douche canoe figures out a way to hack your shit?

I've had girls send me nude photos (I'm kind of a big deal...). Occasionally, I'll keep them, but I don't store them on my camera roll and then back them up in iCloud. Because that's fucking stupid. So instead, I place them in Picture Safe. Now only I have access to them. And the files are encrypted. That protects me and the girls' right to privacy as well.

Am I crazy? Does this sound logical?

I've purposely refrained from looking at any of the photos as I think it would be wrong and I don't want to be a jerk. If the situation was reversed I would want to be treated the same way, even if I would never be stupid enough to put them on something as vulnerable as they did or want to take nude pictures of myself.

Rickey Gervais is taking some heat for this comment but I have to agree with him. I don't condone what this hacker has done but these celebrities are idiots for even saving nudes of themselves on their phones or computers. You're automatically a target for hacking if you're a celebrity so you have to be 10x as careful than non celebrities. I suggest these celebs get an encrypted hard drive to store their nudes from now on

So apparently, these nudes have been circulating throughout under ground hackers for years now and there's a chance that these leaks might be the first of more in the future.

You're correct. There's been some infighting going on between those who leaked the photos and those who wanted this to stay underground

If they had just stored their pictures wherever Lois Lerner stored her email nobody would've ever found 'em.

I did see those Jennifer Lawrence pics and liked them very much, but as soon as I heard they were ripped from her icloud I felt bad. Same goes for the Kate Upton ones too. From what I've heard people posting them online will be banned or worse, so I'm sure no one here on Freeones will do that. :)
