That is so fucking BOGUS...a sheriff stopped her for "allegedly" swerving on the road and afterward he found some pot in her car she's busted. A friend of hers testified that the pot was his and he used her car earlier in the day, so she wont have a possession conviction.

I do have friends that like to smoke weed [I don't], but you can bet that I will never allow them to use my car, much less have them in the car while I am driving. I don't need one of these dickheads hiding their shit under the drivers seat if I ever get stopped for something.

I've never seen much wrong with marijuana, and yep, it probably should be legal and regulated, because it's no more damaging, impairing, or problematic than alcohol. BUT- it's currently illegal, and if you're going to drive around with it in your car, then hey... you're rolling the dice.

It's like any other law you break, from speeding to murder- if you're going to break that law, don't bitch and whine when you get caught for it.

I've always said the law and common sense have absoulutly nothing in common in most cases. Our so called "war on drugs" is the perfect example. What a waste of time and money busting pot smokers while killers and rapists consistantly go free or are released early.

Oh my gosh... thank God they got that menace off the streets. I don't know about anyone else but I feel safer knowing she's off the streets.

She's an old lady... at her age she should be able to enjoy what little life she has left. Lord knows her amazing career has earned her the right.

I think it is senseless that she be arrested for marijuana like everybody else. I also think when it is a 69 year old lady, they could have probably just given her a warning and comphinscated the pot. But what is this, "she has earned the right because of what she did on T.V" junk. She is an actress, plain and simple nothing special. Her career is no more admirable than a garbage man, an electrician or a factory worker. The guys who have spent 30+ years working in a factory somewhere on 12 hour swing shifts, they deserve a little break every once in awhile, not some privileged actress.
