I love the Superman and Batman movies, but you do realize that Superman and Batman are DC not Marvel?
I honestly did not know. I know next to nothing about comics, to tell you the truth. They never really appealed to me. Well except Simpsons comics.

That's alright, I actually know a lot of people who don't realize that. A lot people also don't realize that "Wanted" is a comic book movie from Top Cow. Just wait until "Witchblade" (another Top Cow comic) comes out next year, that'll really send people into a tail spin.
are you kidding?! the old punisher was WAYYYYY off base. . . too PG in order to draw a bigger box-office sell. . . i thought the new one was great. i was upset to see Thomas Jane wasn't going to be in the sequel.
i was a big X-Men fan, so those are my favs, although Spiderman is a close second.

I've never been a fan of the character, but it's certainly one of the better Marvel movies to date.

I think that the first and second Spider Man movies were the best but I think that Iron Man was the most suprising, because I never would have thought it was going to be that good.
Iron Man and The Punisher were the best
Spiderman has history, nostalgia, and teen-focus in its favor while X-Men gives us all the chance to turn our "faults" into virtues.
Iron Man was a superb movie, for me, because it seemed to imply that super abilities wouldn't make you a "good" person, only move your personality slightly more towards selflessness. In this respect, I think that it represents reality. I adored Iron Man

I loved the first two X-Men movies but then Brett Ratner came along. Ironically he was FOX's first choice to direct the first X-Men. I loved the first two Spider-Man movies but then Sam Raimi turned Peter Parker into a whiny little dancing emo punk. It's because of these atrocities is why I've knocked down these two franchises a bit. They weren't terrible enough as I have added them to my dvd collection to finish out the trilogies but they ended on sour notes with me. The same can be said about Blade. I love the first two but then David Goyer decided to direct instead of staying as the writer. For the longest time I stayed away from adding Blade Trinity to my collection but yesterday I've relaxed on my stance with the movie and finally added it. Mostly because I caught a tv viewing of it recently and decided it wasn't all that bad. All in all, I love all of the Marvel movies that have come out but Iron Man was the absolute best imo. However I'm hearing a lot of positive feedback on The Incredible Hulk and can't wait.
