Tonight I made “The garden of Edumb” burger from a recipe I found at thebobsburgerexperiment.com. a burger patty stuffed with sauteed granny Smith Apples, and red onion on a bed of sauteed sweet onions with a maple, ginger, cinnamon yogurt sauce, sliced green apple and sweet potato fries with rosemary and garlic.
I haven’t tried a sweet burger before and it was pretty good but I’m a little more interested in trying the “we’re here, we’re Gruyere, get used to it” burger. It’s a deconstructed French onion soup burger.
But I’ll wait a little while to make it so my mom won’t have a heart attack.
And the photo didn’t do it justice. It was prettier than the picture, I swear.
