Those are bay scallops, right? Those are much larger than the ones found in my market. Sea scallops I can find plenty of so I guess that should suffice. But the bay ones are so much sweater than the seas.
Plasma, as said by others, find 2 things in your fridge or pantry and throw them together. Take a bite and think about something to add. Do that and take another bite. You are now cooking. The most important thing about cooking is tasting. The things you see in recipes are just guidelines. Mariah, and others just like top chefs, cook the same stuff over and over again and constantly adjust measurements as they taste. That's the fun and challenge of cooking. You put that stuff in your mouth and once your eyes roll back into your head, you have created your dish.
Nothing complicated. Try making a perfect sandwich. What do you like? Throw it on there. Taste it then add something else. Make it on a different bread. Starting to taste nice? Try it with mustard instead of mayo. Maybe a little of both. How would this taste with ham instead of turkey? Try it. With cheese or without. Find the fun in this.
