That dude should have been beat down. I know it is easy to say it from behind a computer screen, but I would have hit that guy so fucking hard his god would have felt it.

Look at these people. Lets hold him until the police get here. WTF are they doing? Throw down on this guy. Whip him with those binoculars.

There is times when people deserve to spend time in jail/prison, and there is times when they deserve eye for an eye.

I could also state that if a cop was the one that sucker punched the blind woman there would be people doing everything they could to try and to make excuses for him.

That seems a bit harsh.

The people that came to her aid did the right thing. Seperate the two and wait for the authourities arrive. If I had been involved there probably would have been some ass whipping going on. I do have a wee bit of a temper. The guy obviously has some some kind of mental issues. I hope that they get addressed.

I heard a story a while ago, come to think of it I read it in a novel by Joseph Wambaugh that this story reminded me of.

It was about some violent asshat criminal who if memory serves was mugging little old ladies who were cashing their social security checks. The cops caught him and after a brief chase surrendered without incident. On the way to the lock up the perpetrator was getting mouthy with the cop who was driving. The cop mumbled something quietly and the scumbag leaned forward and asked him not-to-politely to speak up. The cop mumbled the same thing a little more loudly but the guy couldn't understand him. He leaned forward a little more and the cop JAMMED on the brakes as hard as he could and the mutt mashed his face up against the cage. The cop turned around and said "I said there's a dog in the middle of the road and I'm going to stop so I don't hit him. You better sit back so you don't get hurt."

I love stuff like that.

I would have knocked him the fuck out. I have a spontaneously bad temper, and If I ever saw something like that, or hypothetically something similar to what that dude did, I would have to protect anybody who couldn't fend for themselves, right or wrong, smart or not, I automatically get involved regardless of the situation, I am not gonna let somebody be attacked without doing anything I can to help somebody in need. :angels::hatsoff:
